Film Developing


Assemble the following items:

Developer, Stop Bath, Fixer, Hypo Clear, funnel, 2 cup measurer, thermometer, squeegee, clothespins (2), scissors, film protector sleeve.

For TMAX 100 film (Consult chart on Developer container):

Measure 10 oz. of 68-70 degree water.
Mix with equal amount of Developer (D76) and pour into canister with film.
Carefully agitate (CGA) for 30 seconds. Gently tap side of canister when finished.
Wait 30 seconds and CGA for 5 seconds.
Repeat every 30 seconds until time indicated on chart is completed.
Empty canister into Developer recycle container.
Add 10 oz. of Stop Bath to canister and CGA for 30 seconds.
Empty canister into the used Stop Bath container.
Add 10 oz. of Fixer to canister and CGA for 5 minutes.
Empty canister into the used Fixer container.
Remove cover from container and let tap water flush film for at least 2 minutes.
Add 10 oz. of Hypo Clear and CGA for 2 minutes.
Empty canister into the used Hypo Clear container.
Remove cover from container and let tap water flush film for at least 5 minutes.
Add 10 oz. of Photo Flow to canister and CGA for 30 seconds.
Empty canister into used Photo Flow container.
Remove film from reel and squeegee from top to bottom once.
Hang to dry. Add a clothespin to bottom to keep from curling.
Once dry cut into groups of 5 and place upright in film protector sheet.
Be sure to clean working area to keep dust off negatives.
