I am so glad that I have a real relationship with God, that He's not just up there somewhere. He is here and from moment to moment that relationship is ever growing and ever changing. And He's not some tyrant ready to hit me with a lightening bolt if  I  goof.

What can I say to You O God Awesome in might and in power.

Who has taken such an undeserving one and saved her in her darkest hour.

What can I say to You O God who has kept me as His child.

Who gave His life  that I might be saved even when I was yet wild.

Honor and praise I give to you.

 I give you reverence so rightfully due.

Yet still your heart reaches from above.

Letting me know you desire my love.

Love and thanks are so easy to give.

For I have learned about real love from the one who died that I may live.

For I have been fill with thankfulness by that same one who provides for me daily.

What's Cooking ?

I love recipes, cookbooks, and cooking shows. I watch recipes done on the food network t.v. station that I will probably never do. I watch with fascination and sometimes I get on the computer and go to their web site and look up the recipes. Sometimes I even try to prepare one. To me cooking is like a hobby, or play. I especially like to cook for others because to me it is also a labor of love. I think I love cooking because to me it is fun and not a chore, and because it is like playing I am not afraid of mistakes. Being able to relax and enjoy cooking makes a big difference in it's out come. Christian life is a lot like that. To me Christian life is not a chore it is the way I live because I love Jesus. The relationship I have with Him makes Christian life fun, exciting, relaxing, and rewarding and a lot more. Still I need guidance, instruction, and a relaxed attitude. I get guidance and instruction from the bible and time I spend in fellowship with Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and Father God, and also from listening to pastors. Fear, trembling, awe, reverence, are very important too, after all He is God and there is a proper time and place for that. God didn't make us just to be obedient robots who only obey out of fear. There is a proper time to relax and enjoy  my relationship with God and I get some of both times (reverence, relaxed) every day. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit is real. Just as my relationship with my husband is not the same from moment to moment neither is my relationship with them. Remembering this helps me to not be so afraid of making mistakes, because I know He loves me and forgives me and together we can pick up and start again where we left off. I think a good balance of  reverence and relaxed, fun time with Jesus make a difference in the out come of  my Christian life.
