I am a perfume bottle filled with a fragrance that is sweet to God. I am filled with a mixture of  The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. A mixture of  praise, prayer, and thanks giving. I am a sweet aroma to some men and a stench of death to others. I am willing to be broken a poured out, or used in any other way God sees fit. After all I am His.   

Sweet Aroma

Here I am praying come Lord.

Here I will stay until You arrive.

Pierce me and heal me with Your sword.

Unless you change me I wont survive.

Here I am praying come Lord.

Fill me and this place with Your sweet perfume.

Here I will stay until with in me it is stored.

That where I go Your scent will fill the room.

I pray Your scent will draw many to you.

I pray it will draw the wandering child.

I pray your scent will make them hungry too.

I pray that it will stop them from running wild.

I pray I will be your scented vessel along the way.

I pray all will be drawn unto You .

In my life Lord make me smell more like each day.

And make me a sweet aroma unto you too.

Smells Good !

One thing I like hearing when my husband comes home for dinner is "It sure smells good in here!" I also am pleased when some one says "I really like your perfume what's it called?" Good smells seem to lift the spirits of everyone. Some times good smells evoke good memories. For me the smell of oranges and tangerines evokes the memories of a really good Christmas I had as a little girl. Spiritually I want to be a pleasing aroma to the Lord. It sure wasn't before I got saved! Prayerfully how I live my life before now, Him is a sweet aroma to Him. My hearts desire also is to share the sweet aroma of the presence of the Lord with others. I pray that my life before others will give people a taste of what God is like. And attract them to Him by His sweet aroma, giving them the desire to know Him in a more real way. Good smells of God come in many forms such as a gentle spirit, love, peace, kindness and more. Just like the food smell makes me hungry, I pray the sweet aroma of the Lord makes others hungry to draw near to Him. I usually get spiritually hungry for more of God during praise and prayer time and I think that is because of the sweet aroma of  His presence. However spiritually there are some stinky smells too, such as: anger, being unkind, gossip, curse words, deceitfulness, and more. Stinky spiritual smell not only hurts everyone, but it draws people away from God sometimes a little and sometimes a lot! Stinky thoughts (thoughts of my past) draw my attention away from God and usually puts me on guilt trips, keeps me away from God as I dwell in the land of what ifs. Stinky thoughts in general like how can twist my way out of this with words could keep me occupied and away from God. There are lot's of sweet spiritual aromas and equally as many stinky spiritual smells, I need the Holy Spirit to help me with these. Another good smell I like is a clean fresh baby right after it's bath. Thanks be to Jesus every day I can smell like that, if  I take the bath.

For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 2 Corinthians 2:15, Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma. But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it be far from you, as is fitting for the saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving thanks. Ephesians 5:1-4
