I am so thankful to God for sight, hearing, smelling, tasting, touch, and movement. I want to show my gratitude by not taking any of them for granted physically or spiritually. I want to take time to really notice and enjoy each .
Full Of Love Thanks And Life
Lord I want to see You not just a part but all.
Make my heart pure that I may see You I gladly at Your feet will fall.
I am in love, Yes so in love with You my King.
I know You love me to because over me I hear You sing.
Lord I love to hear You sing.
I love Your voice as You teach me everything.
To smell the earth and trees You made is a treat.
The fragrance of Your presence in life is so sweet.
Every day I seek Your touch Your face.
I am thankful each day for You embrace.
I have tasted You Oh Lord and see that You are more than good.
You Oh Lord satisfy me as nothing or none other ever could.
I jump, I leap, and move about with a grateful heart for in You I am living.
So I offer You all of me as a sacrifice of thanksgiving.
Full Of Life
I haven't made bread for a long time. Even though the weather is getting hot here I am thinking about making some when I get back from Hawaii. I figure to beat the heat I will make the dough in the evening and let it rise over night and bake it in the morning. I have a recipe that is perfect for that. I am not so much hankering for hot bread as I am for what making it entails. I like mixing and measuring, and I like the kneading, and the aroma of bread before, during, and after cooking it. I really like the warmth of the dough when I knead it after it's first rising. It's so soft and warm and it makes my hands feel good. Making bread fills my senses. I feel the warmth of the dough and the oven and the cooked bread. I see the dough go from a pale color to a rich golden or dark brown. I smell the dough before, during, and after cooking. I taste the wonderful flavor of hot baked bread (with butter and honey on it of course!). I hear myself singing as I knead the dough, and I hear my husband's happy comments about having baked bread. Life would be so much fuller for me if I could train myself to be aware of God touching all my senses. This is something I am determined to do. I want to be aware of feeling and knowing the fullness of His presence. I want to be aware of and know His voice not only when He is talking to me, but when He is singing over me as well. I want to see Him everywhere and in everything or at least in every way possible. I want to smell His aroma I want to know His aroma so I wont be fooled like Isaac when he smelled Jacob and thought it was Esau. I want to truly taste and see that the Lord is good, to really taste the bread of life, that His flavor may fill and influence the flavor of my life. Also God has physically given me the gift of sight, touch, taste, hearing, smelling, moving. I don't want to take the for granted I want to focus on each one and enjoy each one that I may truly give thanks and bless Him for them. I believe as I really experience (become aware) of each of these gifts in the spiritual and physical realm that not only will I be more full of life but, that I will become fuller of the one who gives life.
Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8, You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11, Oh taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trust in Him! Psalm 34:8, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27, His branches shall spread; His beauty shall be like an olive tree, and His fragrance like Lebanon. Hosea 14:6, For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said,' for we are also His offspring.' Acts 17:28
