Lord set a guard over me that what ever I do will truly come from thee. Amen
Feed
I come to You this morning Lord let Your voice be heard.
Fill me feed me.
I meditate through out the day on Your Word.
Help me to hear help me to see.
When I come upon Your lambs bring Your words to my remembrance.
Fill them feed them.
I want to be available for You to use leaving nothing to chance.
Feed me Your words Feed me a Hymn.
You have a plan for everyone's life to feed Your sheep.
Fill us feed us.
Help us dear Lord this plan to complete.
In You we live in You we trust.
Amen
Feeding A Crowd
I love it when we have pot blessings at church because I love to cook. I also love the fellowship. But back to cooking. I usually have to search around for a recipe that will feed a crowd. There is a wonderful magazine call "Taste Of Home" that has a section called "When the gangs all here". They have a menu and recipes for cooking for a crowd. It's important to me what I feed people. Because I love people I want consider their health just as I would my own families, because they are my family! Anyway I try to pick things that have good nutritional value, taste good and hopefully looks yummy. Every day I feed people spiritually, on this web page or people I come in contact with. What do I feed them? Is it spiritually nutritious? Where do I get the food to feed them? By starting my day with prayer I receive the food to feed them. I feed people spiritually whatever God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit brings to my heart and mind to feed them. Sometimes the food doesn't come until I am face to face with the person it is for. But prayer in the morning has open the door to God's store house. communicating with God through out the day keeps the door open. I also feed people a little taste of what God is like when I imitate Christ like ways. But all in all the food comes from God. I have noting of myself and even if I did it wouldn't be fit to eat. So because of the source I know that what I spiritually feed people is nutritious. He balances out what I feed them with love, mercy, and grace. He gives them things according to what they can chew. You know if they can only handle milk they get milk. If they can handle meat they get meat. He uses me to feed people because I make myself available to Him for whatever He wants to do. I might feed a word of encouragement, some words that bring peace, some words that shed light, some words that feed truth into someone's life, some words of hope. These are only a few of the things that God gives me to feed people. And because God has placed His love in my heart for people I care about how I feed them. He even guides me in that. Sometimes people feed me too. But my main food is to obey God.
So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes Lord; You know I that I love You". He said to him, "Feed My lambs." John 21:15, "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses it's flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men." Matthew 5:13 Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His Work." John 4:34 (Remember God Has a plan for your life.)
