Lord You light up my life in good times and bad. Now help me to take Your light and share it with others. Amen

Prayer/ Song Of An Encourager

Make me an instrument of Your love.

Cause me to spread Your light where ever I go.

Use me that they may glorify my Father above.

Cause me blessed seeds to sow.

Use me to light up someone's life today.

Fill me with encouraging words to say.

Make me a joy and a blessing to someone I pray.

Make me a reflection of my Father's love.

Make me a reminder of  our help and hope from above.

Give me the words as I pray.

Help me in You to stay.

That I may light up a life today. Amen

You Light Up My Life

I love these cool sunny days of fall with all their color. I am not to fond of looking at my yard or garden at this time though. The work is over whelming! There are leaves to rake, sticks and branches to pick up, weeds to pull, bushes to trim, and more! But when I am out there doing the yard work some one usually comes by and tells me it looks good and other encouraging things. They really brighten my day (light up my life). Christian encouragers do that too. I want to be one of those people who brightens up some ones day with encouragement. I want to light up someone's life with the light of Jesus. There are so many wonderful scriptures, psalms, and hymns that I can share with others to do just that. It wont happen if  I don't step out and do it. I can do it by email. By seeking someone to bless in this way. Or by having a scripture ready to share with anyone I happen to meet as I go places. Maybe even by just singing hymns where ever I am. Who knows maybe I will encourage or light up someone's life with out even knowing it; by singing hymns where ever I happen to be. There are lot's of other ways to brighten up someone's day too. By being there for someone when things are rough, praying with people, doing whatever your able to do to help someone. Also by taking time to listen to people, or just taking time for someone. There are so many ways to brighten a life. There are so many lives to brighten! The lives of children, old people, any age actually, the lives of the poor, lost, down trodden, the stressed out, the burned out, the over whelmed, the depressed and more. I pray the Lord and the Holy Spirit will daily use me to light up someone's life. I give thanks for all the people who light up mine. I am very grateful for a loving God who daily lights up my life when no one else will or can. How good it is to be a child of God your never with out light. 

Strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in faith, and saying, we must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God. Acts 14:22, Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God. Ephesians 5:19-21 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16
