There is work to be done daily in God's vineyard. I must be about my Fathers business. So out to the vineyard I go! Down on my knees to pull the weeds, loosen soil, and sow. Up I stand with the watering can. Here I learn of  His garden plan. Yes daily to the vineyard I go to learn how to make good fruit to grow.

A Garden Prayer/Song

Into Your hands do I commit my soul, my whole being.

Into Your hands I place all my hopes of someday Your glory seeing.

Into Your hands I commit all I am In hopes that You will make me like You.

Into Your hands I will gladly stay that others may see Your glory too.

Tend me as Your garden each day.

Water and prune me and loosen this heart of clay.

Fed me and cause me to abide in Your light.

Set a guard over me day and night.

Weed me and care for me until harvest time.

Then reap me and blow away this chaff of mine.

For Lord I commit myself into Your hand.

Do with me all according to Your plan. Amen 

Story Of A Branch

I don't have an orchard of my own. The school where I live has some apple trees. They are not tended to, but when I pick apples each year it seems to encourage the trees to put out more the next year. also as branches get snapped off it acts much like pruning does, it helps the trees to branch out more. I do have an orchard that needs daily care though. That is the spiritual orchard where the fruit of the spirit grows. You know love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Galatians 5:22. This orchard needs constant care. It has to be brought under the care of the vinedresser ever day. John 15:1 For pruning. John 15:2 You see I am not the owner of this orchard either. I am not even the vine that produces the fruit! John 15:1. No I am just the little branch the fruit will hang from. John15:5 The fruit that will appear on me will be seen and eaten by others and they will thank the vinedresser and tell Him how wonderful He is. John 15:8 For the fruit of love and joy to grow it must be watered  with obedience. John 15:9-17 For peace to grow it must be watered with love, faith, and trust. John14:25-31 For longsuffering to grow it must be watered  with forgiveness, understanding, and love Matthew 21-35, 1 Corinthians 13:4 For kindness to grow it must be watered with love, mercy and understanding for others. Ephesians4:32 For goodness to grow it must be watered with a will to choose to do right and to reject that which is wrong. 1 Peter 3:13-17 For faithfulness to grow it must be watered with trust worthiness, and a will to do what is right, and with integrity. Matthew 25:14-21 For gentleness to grow it must be watered with compassion, care, love, submissiveness, humbleness and understanding. 1 Peter5:5-6 For self-control to grow it must be watered with a heart that is submitted and committed to God and by walking in the spirit. Being filled, guided, and lead by the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:16-26 There is a lot to be done in this vineyard. The soil has to be loosened and seeds sown. Hosea 10:12 Plant food. Acts 14:17 Sunshine Ephesians 5:8-14 And as time goes by and I watch the vinedresser and learn more about Him and His ways; I learn more and more of what it takes to produce good fruit. Yep I must study His ways (the bible) and watch Him closely (spend time with Him daily) and submit and commit myself into His hand daily (obedience) if I ever hope to produce very much good fruit.
