With You O Lord there is no mountain I can't climb. Amen!

Mountain Climbing

Come Lord and Guide me.

I have a mountain to climb.

Stay be side me all the way.

Equip me for this journey I pray.

And when we get over to the other side.

Keep me humble and not boastful with pride.

Let my voice loudly sing praise.

Of my God and the wisdom of His ways.

Let thanks continually flow from me.

For all that has come from Thee. Amen

Mountains

I love to look at the mountains on a beautiful sunny day. I have even had thoughts about someday climbing one. I noticed on television shows about mountain climbing; that the way up is not always straight. This is because you have to look for good foot holds and avoid obstacles. I also learned that there is a lot of equipment that you need. Like good hiking boots, the right clothes, food, water, bedding, shelter, a way to cook and keep warm, rope, picks, and more! This is if you are going to climb a really big mountain. To hike up smaller mountains you need less stuff. I also learned for big mountains you have to stop every so often to get acclimated to the thinner atmospheres so you don't get mountain sickness. And that if there is snow you must ware eye gear so you don't get snow blindness. also it is best to have a very good experienced guide. When I have a big spiritual mountain to climb that is what I do I seek God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit who else is better to guide me! Not only is He the best guide but, He is great at equipping me! When I look to Him, He shows me the best path to take to get up and over my mountain. And guess what it is not always the most obvious straight path that I see. Also He get me to stop at different levels and get acclimated to the changing responsibilities, emotions, and what have you. He reminds me when to stop and rest, eat, drink, and seek the comfort of His warmth. Through these experiences my faith has and is growing that there is no mountain that God and I can't climb together.

So Jesus said to them, because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say unto you, if you had faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20, The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the Lord Psalm 97:5, Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name. Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, just as we hope in You. Psalm 33:20-22
