I don't want to be home just for the holidays. I want to be home everyday. Filling it with God, praise, prayer, laughter and love. It's not how much time I spend doing it that counts. It's the quality. So even if you see a mess may you feel the love, find rest, and comfort in my home. Most of all may you find God there.

Home
Thank you Lord for my home filled with love.
And for my family a true treasure from  My Father above.
Thank you for all you provide.
Please come inside.
And make my home your home too.
Be head of our house, for my family and I love You.
May we each and every day,
In our home be found serving you.
And showing others the way,
To you Lord who makes happy homes and keeps our hearts true.
Home For More Than Just The Holidays
To have a home is a true gift from God. I know because I use to be a street person (homeless person). I was one for about 16 years. What makes it a home is the love my family and friends find there and the care I put into making it a place of comfort, rest, and joy. How I decorate my home and keep it clean expresses some of that. But it's not the time I put in that makes it home it's the love. If  I were a housewife who worked out side of the home, or a mother with children my house may be a mess, but it would be full of love. That's more important. The care I put into the meals I make show love. Seeing that my Husband has clean clothes shows love. So many of the daily things I do that I call chores shows love. I am grateful for God's provision so I can do my chores. I'm so thankful that I have a home and a husband to take care of. I love to decorate for thanksgiving because I am so very thankful to God for everything. I love to decorate for christmas because every where I look I see reminders of my love for Jesus and the different seasons He brings. I have a friend who has children and their spouse has not been home for a while. One of the children told me that their parent would be home for christmas. I pray daily that parent will come home to stay. This made me think about the love and care I put into my home, and how grateful I am it's not just for the holidays. Thank you Lord you don't just give me a home for the holidays, but everyday. Thank you Lord for my husband who cares about our home and works so hard. Lord please restore my friend's home. Please turn my friend's heart back to you. Amen.
Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established. Proverb 24:3 To be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their husbands, that the the word of God may not be blasphemed. Titus 2:5
