Today I can be fresh, clean, and sweet like a freshly cleaned baby. All I have to do is go to the Father  be washed by His Son and filled with the Holy Spirit such a sweet perfume!

Clean

Lord I come to you as a child dirty from play.

You as a good Father wash the grime away.

I hear you asking me what have you been doing today.

I try to tell you everything but some things cause me to shamefully  turn away.

You remind me that you love me and my heart can be clean too.

If  I'm truly sorry and tell it all to you.

On laundry day I sort my clothes into piles. I put the whites in one pile, the dark colors in another, and the very colorful clothes in another. I separate bath linens from bed linens. I separate them from kitchen linens. Some clothes get presoaked, some will get bleach in the wash, all of them will get some laundry detergent. I use fragrance free for sensitive skin laundry soap. I use fabric softeners with a scent only on the bed and bath linens. I dry my clothes in a dryer, I wish I had a clothes line because I love they way clothes smell from the line. God has a big laundry day coming when He will give us garments of white. We will be whiter than pure snow!  I am only one piece of  laundry everyone living the rest of the laundry. Only He can sort the laundry. Therefore I must be careful not to try to sort the laundry for God. (Prejudge people) Especially not say why bother with so and so they will never change, they aren't going to make it. He has me presoaking at times (these are times when He is delivering me from unwanted things in my life). At the presoak stage I am aware of something not right in my life. Then I start praying and talking to God about what ever that wrong thing is. Then I start seeing in His word what He has to say about it. Sometimes He bleaches me ( lets me learn the hard way). All areas of  my life get some laundry soap on a regular bases, as I study His word and talk to Him. Another way to look at it Bleach (the blood of Jesus that washes away all my sins) Soap ( God's word that keeps cleaning my mind as I meditate on it) Presoak ( prayer and the time I spend talking to God as I work out my salvation with fear and trembling.) The Dryer (life and I wont be done until He takes me out!) 

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Revelation 3:19 Behold happy is the man whom God corrects; therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. Job 5:17  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1John 1:9
