I pray that I never neglect a gift that God gives me. I never want to cast any aside like a child who is bored with a toy. Or as a child who is frustrated by a game and refuses to rise to the challenge. Or as a child who is picky. Or as a child who is haughty. Lord keep me ever humble and grateful for all that You give. May I always show my gratitude by doing right with all You give me. Amen

Thank You

So many wonderful gifts You have given me.

Let me not neglect anything that comes from thee.

Thank You for my heavenly language so sweet.

Help me to daily use it as I sit at Your feet.

Thank You for this love You have placed in this heart Of mine.

Use it to draw others closer to Yours all the time.

Thank You for this faith that daily is growing strong.

Thank You for boldness to speak up against wrong.

Thank You for all my provisions each day.

Thank You for answering me when I pray.

Thank You for always staying with me

Thank You for all Your love that I see. Amen

Baby Talk

I am fascinated as I baby sit a two month old. He sometimes watches my face when I am talking to him. Lately He has been cooing and making all sorts of verbal sounds. I tease him even though he is to little to know that I am. I say to him, "Oh look your speaking in a heavenly language!"  I know that he is just discovering his voice and by watching me is learning to talk. He also checks out my expressions as I talk. I do believe babies can sense a persons mood. I wonder if  facial expressions give them a clue? I need to and want to seek Father God's, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit's face daily. It is that personal relationship that comes from seeking His face that teaches me how to talk; and many other things. Also as I study His word the bible I learn how to talk. Not the talk of the world but spiritual talk. A talk that is higher than the world's talk. Yet humble enough to remember that I am not above anyone else. As I receive the Holy Spirit daily to guide, lead, and teach me through out the day; I learn to talk a heavenly language. I think if a baby only heard baby talk all the time that might end up to be his regular language. Who knows! But, as he learns words and eventually puts them in sentences, he learns to talk in his parent's native tongue. So it does take some practice. This is true to of  speaking a spiritual or heavenly language. I won't be very good at it and may lose it if I don't practice. So here I am today. I have spoken in a heavenly language (tongues). But I haven't been doing it every day. I know I should. Because for one thing, the bible says that the Holy Spirit uses it to pray for me, when I don't know how, or what to pray. Romans 8:26 For another thing it is a gift from God and I don't want to refuse any gift from Him. Also it edifies the church and boy howdy the church needs that! 1 Corinthians 14:1-5 Also it is a sign to unbelievers. 1 Corinthians 14:20-25 Also because Jesus said "and these signs will follow those who believe; In my Name they shall cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;"  Mark 16:17  Anyway I am finding that in order to use it daily it helps to sometimes sing, sometime pray, sometimes just speak in my new language. But it wont come forth at all if  I am not in the spirit. God is good. He wont allow His words to go out and come back void. Nor will He allow me to speak idle words in my heavenly language. Speaking in my heavenly language is not empty because it is the Holy Spirit working in and through me. I pray Holy Spirit please come fill me daily and guide me and lead me in daily use of my new heavenly language. Help me to not neglect such a great gift. Help me to use it every day. In Jesus name I ask amen.
