Lord not only can I not hide anything from you but, I don't want to hide anything from you. I love you, I want to obey you. I can only do right by bringing every thing to you, that together we can set things right. You gave me the right to choose. I choose to do my part and bring everything to you, to listen, to repent and obey as best as I am able. Amen!

He Knows

Lord the bible says you get mad.

I have read even where you've been sad.

The bible says you were tempted in every way.

Also in all things you still did obey.

I know you have labored to set me free.

I know you died that I can live eternally.

So how can I stand here and say,

You don't understand what I going through today.

When I get busy like around the holidays, my clothes closet becomes a sight! Sooner or later it gets to the point where I have to clean it, or put up a sign saying beware of avalanche. I not only store clothes in my closet. I store my homemade canned goods, boxes of pictures, Costco packs of  Kleenex, my embroidery hoop, my dehydrator, wrapping paper, and computer, and writing paper of  all sorts and sizes. I pull everything out of my closet, vacuum my closet, reorganize things, and put it all back. I also go over my clothes for what needs fixing, what's worn out, and what doesn't fit right. So I end up mending, tossing, and giving away clothes. I put the ones I keep back in a neat orderly fashion. All is well in my closet until a week later it becomes a little mess, then two weeks a bigger mess, and the mess grows until I fix it about the third week. We have Christmas decoration in the living room so right now I also have a large lamp in my closet, and a couple extra boxes. So I must do something about the closet soon! My life is a lot like that closet. Little by little I accumulate little spiritual messes because I am busy and not paying attention. They get shoved out of sight and they grow, until I can ignore the mess no longer. Only I don't have to tackle this clean up job alone. I ask Jesus to forgive me for the various messes and together we start putting things back to right. I am so thankful for a loving, forgiving, merciful God and friend.

Psalm 103: 2,3,4,5. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. Psalm 103:8
