The more I learn about God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, and heaven the more I can't wait to get there! At the same time I would love to be here for the rapture, or Jesus second coming! One thing I do know is I want serve Him, please Him, and to be with Him forever!  

Return Of The King

Oh how long until you return.

My heart keeps wondering as for you it years.

As I wait this is how I hope it will be.

Listen now and Lord I will tell it to thee.

I will fling open wide the gates of my heart.

My voice is full of  love as your praises I start.

My feet will start to dance as I start to sing.

I will celebrate with rejoicing as I see my returning King.

I will run unto you arms open wide.

My love for you I wont be able to hide.

My arms around you I'll fling.

I will forever worship and serve my King.

We don't have a red carpet, but when someone is coming to my house to visit I try to give them the red carpet treatment. I clean the house the night before and tidy it again that morning and through out the day until they arrive. I polish the silverware, glasses, and utensils the day before they come. I plan the meal down to the smallest detail a week and a half ahead, so I can shop for what a need a few days before the meal. I like every thing fresh. I usually make my bread and desserts a day ahead. Just before they arrive I set the table as elegant as my budget will allow. I usually have a real tablecloth, a pretty center piece, candles, napkins folded fancy etcetera. To me all my guest are not only family because of  Jesus but, they are royalty. I want everything special for them and yet I try to make them feel relaxed and at home. They are! My home is their home. This year for Christmas I am asking God to keep my heart full of excitement as I look daily for His return. I ask Him to draw my attention daily toward preparing for His return with  even more enthusiasm than I would for one of my guest. I want my whole being all that I am to be as a house with it's doors flung open wide, sparkling clean, warm, well lit, inviting, and full of  love, songs and joy celebrating His return.

And the King will answer and say to them, 'assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethern, you did it unto me'. Matthew 25:40 And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen Revelation 1:6  And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. 1 John 2:28
