Do I really live like I am in God's Kingdom? If  I am fearful, insecure, if  my faith and trust is weak, then I am not living in it as much as I could be. If  I complain, grumble, sulk, and think every thing is unfair, then I am not there as much as I could be. In God's Kingdom there is: boldness, power, light, life, love, joy, peace, trust, faith, goodness, A Helper, a Comforter, a Teacher, a Savior, a Friend, a Brother, the King of Kings, The One and Only True God, and so much more. I want to start living there today, and with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit's help I can a little more each day. Thanks Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit I welcome your help. Amen

The Kingdom

I want to live like I'm in the Kingdom now.

I want to talk so others will know it some how.

I want to sing praise like I am living there today.

I want to be a beacon to show others the way.

I want to everyone to know that's where I am.

I arrived in this Kingdom by the blood of the Lamb.

I want others to know they can be here too.

O my Lord Jesus it's because of  You.

You said the Kingdom is here so close at hand.

So I want every one like me to come live in Your land.

Come to Jesus, come to Jesus and live in His Kingdom today.

I came to Jesus and in His Kingdom I'm going to stay.

Taste Of  Home

I get a magazine called taste of home. I like it because it is full of  old fashion farm cooking. I also like the country flavor of  magazine articles. They also have a magazine called country woman. It has fewer recipes but lots of craft projects and country / farm stories. I use their ideas to decorate my home, I cook some of the recipes, and do some of the crafts. I believe this gives my home a little taste of country life. But what about my heavenly home? How can I have a taste of it? I think one way is for me to live here as I would there. I am in the world not of it. When I accepted Jesus I started living in His kingdom. So to get a taste of  that, I need to treat the Holy Spirit right. God sent Him to be with me every day as a guide, leader, teacher, comforter, and helper. This shows me that I need to talk with Him and listen to Him every day. I need an active relationship with the Holy Spirit. He will be there in heaven with me would I ignore Him there? No and I shouldn't here either. Another way to have a taste of my heavenly home is to become more Christ like. The bible says when I get to heaven I will be like Him. The bible also tells me to be an imitator of Christ.  Another way to have a taste of my heavenly home is to praise, love, thank, and worship Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit every day. The bible tells me these are some of the things I will be doing. I  can think about my treasures in heaven. They are God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, the place Jesus has prepared for me, anyone that I may lead to the Lord, and more! Also I should walk with my head up with confidence, boldness, having trust and faith in God. Not fretful, fearful, insecure, not wimpy. I should stop grumbling, complaining, and sulking when things don't go my way or seem fair. Because guess what? I wont be doing that in heaven. To have a taste of home here and now means to me that I should start living like I am there. I expect to see some changes in me, in the days, months, and years ahead. That's the way it seems to go in my life no over night transformation. That's good because I would rather things be in God's perfect timing, also going slow helps me retain what I learn.

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:26, Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2, And I heard as it were, the voices of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For The Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." Revelation 19:6-7, In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him. Ephesians 3:12, For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7  Do all things with out complaining and disputing. Philippians 2:14, Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
