I can't enjoy the promises of God if I don't know them. I shouldn't make promises because I do not know if I can keep them. Integrity builder be truthful mean what you say, say what you mean. Lord I need help with this. Here and now I call on the name of the Lord for help. Also I ask You Holy Spirit to please come help me with this.  In Jesus Name Amen

Guard My Mouth O Lord

Lord You are Faithful and True.

I want to be like You.

Set a guard over my mouth and my mind.

Make all my words to be truthful and kind.

I pray my words will glorify You.

I pray my words will help others  too.

Let my words not just be mine.

I pray my words will also be thine.

Write Your word and truth in my inner most part.

Cause only Your words to fill my heart.

Something To Stand On

I am very short and some of our shelves are very high in our cabinets and closets. So I have to drag a little step ladder around if I want to reach things. Step ladders that are specially made for that purpose are very safe. But I don't always want to take the time to haul it out, so sometimes I stand on a kitchen chair which isn't very safe. Thanks be to God that I haven't had any accidents. This reminds me though that if  I stand on God's promises they are not only safe but sure. God made them specially for all His children. If  I stand on man's promises they are weak and may fall through, they are not always safe and sure. I think this may be because they are usually made for man's purpose and for his idea of good. Where God's is made for His purposes which is always for our good. This has taught me not to make promises because I know I am weak. So I try to say I will or I wont do something. Then if something happens and I don't do what I say, I can apologize and explain what happened. 

For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 2 Corinthians 1:20, In hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, Titus 1:2, Let your Yes be Yes , and your No, No. For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. Matthew 5:37  The bible is full of  wonderful promises and blessings and I trust God for all of them. Now I need to go find out what they are so I can live in them and enjoy them.
