Lord give me wisdom, discernment, understanding, a heart full of love and a heart full of You that I may tear down walls that hinder others from accepting You, and  set captives free. Amen

A Prayer

God help me see the wall that keeps others from You.

God help me tear it down. Show me what to do.

Jesus help me reach them with the truth and Your love.

Jesus help them see it was them You were thinking of,

When You went to the cross.

Use me to win back the lost.

Holy Spirit keep me aware of  the lost all around me.

Guide me in all I say and do that I may help their blind eyes see.

It was them that Jesus was thinking of ,

It is them He still loves.

It was for them He went to the cross.

Use me Lord to win back the lost.

Repairs

After our vacation in our bus (motor home) my husband has decided a few things need to be repaired to put it in tip top condition. While we were on our trip he did a few little repairs. He fixed our wood stove and our antenna and a few other things. Even before the trip he made a few repairs to make sure it would run well. I am grateful that as old as our bus is that it doesn't have parts that aren't repairable. In Christian life there is a big repair job that I need to be doing when ever the opportunity arises. There are many people in the world who have been hurt by Christians. Sometimes this happens accidentally and sometimes it happens because not everyone who claims to be a Christian is one. There are also people in the world who have been deceived by preconceived ideas of what Christianity is all about. The truth is some how hidden from them. They have ideas about what it is to be a Christian that they feel they could never live up to. They are embarrassed of or by Christians. They may even be angry at God for any number of reasons. Sometimes when Christians talk they say things that people in the world don't understand because we are different. The repair job I am talking about is showing the ones who have been hurt what real Christians are like. It's about admitting we make mistakes and try to correct them. It's about teaching them forgiveness and  us as representatives asking for forgiveness. It's about presenting the truth and letting the Holy Spirit use me and guide me in how to heal them. It's about helping others not only to hear the truth but to help them to grasp it and embrace it. I must tear down the walls of  ignorance, hurt, deception and more. I must repair the damage done by applying the truth in love. This can only be done rightly as God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit works through me and uses me. I must stay alert and make myself available. 

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To one we are the aroma of death to death, and to the other the aroma of life to life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ. 2 Corinthians 2:14-17
