God is all I need and He has all I need. God has all I could want, but He is all I want.

Prayer For Healing / A Song Of Love

Heal me touch me with Your love.

Fill me with living water from above.

Healing comes when I pray and sing.

Strength comes with prayer and praise eases life's sting.

Heal me make me strong and new.

Glorify Your self through me as I give thanks and praise to You.

Even though You sometimes chastise me full sore.

I will not taste of death I am sure.

For when I close my eyes.

I know they will open again to see You when I rise.

Nothing on earth or in heaven above.

Can separate me from Your love.

And as long as I am given breath by You.

I will proclaim my love for You too. Amen

I have A Cold

I have a sinus cold. I don't know how I got it. My resistance could have just been low. I cold have been around someone who has one and caught it from them. Or I could have just been in a place where a cold germ was in the air. This cold makes me tired, and my thoughts are not as clear and I feel a little achy. Sometimes in my spiritual walk I get like this too. I get tired of fighting my flesh, mind, and the devil. Sometimes fighting hurts and I get heart achy. Sometimes my thoughts are not to clear. It is almost like a cold. A cold is a physical illness with physical symptoms. My spiritual cold has symptoms too. I sound and get confused, I get cranky, and more. Spiritual colds can make me depressed, frustrated, and negative. I don't always know where my spiritual cold comes from. My resistance could have been low. I could have been around some one who was depressed, frustrated, negative, or displaying other symptoms and caught it from them. Or I could have been some place where the spiritual cold germ was in the air.  But like with all colds it's not about where did I get it; it is about how will I do about it. like with a physical cold rest is important. For a spiritual cold rest means spending some quiet, quality time with God listening. Drinking lots of fluid is also suppose to help. In the spiritual world that means praising, filling up at the fountain that flows with living water. Some people believe in eating right to help get rid of a cold. The bible is good food it is like chicken soup to a soul suffering with a spiritual cold. Some people take extra vitamins, and medicine when they have colds. For me my vitamins come in the form of prayer. Prayer has a way of fortifying me and giving me a boost. When I am in prayer I am open to God the Great Physician in a way that allows Him to administer the medicine I need. I also pray that I will learn preventive medicine, so that I wont have these bouts of  illness very often. Or at least so I can be aware and alert and avoid them more. 

This is a scripture I like to think about when I am sick: Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is with in me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. Psalm 103:1-5
