I want Christmas Every day!

A prayer To Be Filled With God's Love

Lord help me to be aware each day of others needs.

Lord give me what to do and say to plant love's seeds.

Use my hands, my heart, my all.

I want to obey You and answer Your call.

May all I do and say help others to see You and know You today.

May they turn and give You thanks and see Your glory I pray.

Lord this is my prayer.

Fill me with Your love that does more than just say I care.

Fill me with Your spirit that draws others near.

Fill me with Your love that says I'm here. Amen

Christmas Every Day

I like the movie that comes on Disney channel this time of year, it is called, "Christmas every day." It is about a boy and his sister who wish every day would be Christmas day. He gets his wish and soon finds out it is not what he thought it would be like. He tries to use each day to change things because he knows what's going to happen before it happens. He tries to make the perfect Christmas. I wont tell you how it ends. But there is a part I really like. It is when the boy says, "I can't fix the world." I can really relate to that! The boy wanted to fix a family problem and help people. All of us who have the love of Jesus in us want to do that. Because of the sensitive tender heart I received from Jesus towards others; I found it hard to accept the fact that I can't fix the world. I just cant stand to see people hurt, suffering, sad, lonely or in need. I guess you could say I inherited my Father's heart. But this doesn't mean I should sit on my hands do nothing and say my Heavenly Father knows all and will do something about it. (I have trust and faith in Him and I know He will do something.) He gives me things to do to help and comfort others. He puts in my heart to pray with and for them. He provides for me so I can give to the needy physically, mentally, and spiritually. He leads me in ways to comfort them. The spirit of  Christmas is love came down from the Father above wrapped in swaddling clothes, a gift of great price (the gift of salvation). In the gift of God's son Jesus was not only salvation wrapped, but healing, peace, hope, wholeness, provision and more! That gift of  love lives in me and it is Christmas every day and I want to give that gift of love until it hurts. Useless, helpless, unable to do anything to change the world. Thanks be to God living in me I am far from that! I cant fix the world; but I can help, comfort, and make my little area a little better because of Him who lives in me.

As the Father loved Me, I have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. John 15:9-13
