If  I want to stay in good repair I must spend some time with God in prayer. And be with Him through out the day. So I can see what needs fixing along the way.

A Prayer/ Love Song

Lord draw me close to You each day.

Help me to hear every word You say.

Write them in my heart and them on my mind.

Give me strength and wisdom to obey You.

Please guide me each day as how to walk in Your way too.

You are my life, my hope, my strength, my help, my all.

I pray I will always quickly answer Your call.

You are The Awesome God who covers me. Amen

You are The mighty God who sets me free.

You are The Holy Father who loves and cares for me.

You are The One I love and with whom I always want to be.

Help me Lord to be more like You.

To me that would be a dream come true.

You are my hearts desire.

Your love lifts me higher and higher.

When I am with You I get a glimpse of  heaven and You .

It makes me fall down on my face and cry Holy, Holy, Holy God Faithful and True. 

Then You gently place me back here in my day.

And I am so glad that I spent time with You before going on my way.

And You remind me that You will never leave.

And that is joyful news a blessing for my heart to receive.

Leaky Roof

I have seen what a leaky roof can do. Today it is raining and we don't have a leaky roof , but we do have leaky windows. That's not as bad as a roof  because I can put towels on the window sills. But a leaky roof  sometimes runs down walls, and fills up ceilings causing them to rot, crumble, and stain and look ugly. Sometimes people get to busy or lazy to fix their roofs. They suffer the consequences. Some people make the time to fix their roofs or hire someone else to. They have peace of mind come rainy season. In my Christian walk I too have to be careful not to become to busy or lazy to fix my spiritual leaks. God is my roof, my covering. If  I get to busy or to lazy to spend time with Him; I might not see the leaks that need repairing. By this I mean if  I am not spending time with God I probably wont notice places that are weak or eroded until sin starts leaking in. This is one roofing job I can not hire someone else to do. I am responsible for my spiritual roof. Also if  I am not careful and totally neglect my roof (my relationship with God) I could find it getting blown off  (no longer there) come the next storm! I could talk about leaky windows and how to keep them in repair and what damage they cause, but I thought it might be fun for you to think about. A clue the eyes are the windows.

 I went to the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding; and there it was, all overgrown with thorns; it's surface was covered with nettles; it's stone wall was broken down. When I saw it, I considered it well; I looked on it and received instruction; A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest; so your poverty will come like a prowler, and your want like an armed man.
