You and You alone O Lord are my source and my strength every minute of each day. And You are the only one that can keep me every step of the way. You are my hope, my help, and comfort too. I cling to You, I trust in You. You are my God my King my All.  You always answer when I call. Amen

A Thankful Song

My hearing may be dim today.

But I will still commit my way,

to You.

I may limp on my way home.

But I am determine not to roam,

from You.

In ways I may not seem whole.

But there is help and hope for my soul,

in You.

So I will never give up, I will not lie down.

I will follow You forever until I receive my crown,

from You.

And I will lay my crown down at Your feet.

There I'll bow down and give thanks for this race I did complete,

thanks to You.

to You.

Still Keeps On Going

The energizer bunny keeps going, and going, and when other batteries stop, it still keeps on going. The energizer bunny can keep on going as long as it source keeps it going. It could get an ear chopped off and still keep going as long as it has power. Today my foot was hurting really bad (arthritis) I guess. Anyway I could have given in to it and done nothing all day. Then my house work would pile up. Also I would have missed a delightful walk with my little friend Lisa. But instead I was thankful to God that I could still walk and so I did. I did so well that my limp was hardly noticeable. In my Christian walk sometimes I get hurt, or stumble and fall, or maimed. But I am thankful that Jesus is my source and He never runs dry. Therefore like the energizer bunny I can still keep on going when others would stop. I have to be careful though because if I become disconnected from my source I will stop (die). So would the bunny if  his batter was disconnected. But just like the bunny there is always hope I will get reconnected. So I hope no one ever gives up on me. The bunny's battery is full of  energy that has to make contact with two points in order to release the energy that makes him move. I two must have Jesus contact my two points (my heart and mind) in order for me to move. The bunny is wired to move a certain way when the power flows through him. When the power of Jesus flows through me I move certain ways too physically, verbally, and spiritually. They way I move when He flows through me; is I move more like Him. So even if  do spiritually stumble, become lame or whatever, I will still go on and ask Jesus to heal me. So I become spiritually handicapped in one area for a while that is no reason to quit. I am not going to stop if my spiritual ear falls off, I am still plugged into my source. I may not be able to hear as good, but I can still hear some and I have faith that God will heal me as I go. I am not going to let anything discourage me from following Jesus. Not me, not my handicaps, not friends, family or foe. I have decided and  am determined to follow Jesus. And I believe with Him I can over come anything and everything that comes my way.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13, But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 5:10-11
