Whether a persons expiration date is today or years from now; we all need Jesus right now! 

A Simple Prayer

Help me walk in Your will.

Come Holy Spirit all of me fill.

Teach me God's word.

Over flow me until others have heard,

That there is a Savior who loves us.

One who will dry all our tears.

His name is Jesus.

And all our prayers He hears.

May Expire Soon

I see lots of ads where they say, "This offer may expire soon." Or, "Hurry this offer will expire soon." My doctor told me that I have high cholesterol and that I may have to take medicine for it. I know that bad cholesterol can lead to heart disease. So to me it was like she was saying, "If you don't exercise, eat right, and get on this medicine you may expire soon." Well that has got me thinking about and looking at my relationship with God. I have been walking in this relationship about 15 years. I know in 15 years a person can get so use to things that they don't see things as they really are. So I am trying to take a fresh view of my relationship with God. I am asking Him to help me see where I might be off the track. I am checking to see if  our communication lines are still flowing smoothly both ways. And I am checking up on a lot of other things too. But lately I have been thinking also about people who don't know God. Their expiration date may be coming up soon. They need to hurry up and accept God's offer of life before it's to late. My heart wish is that people wouldn't wait until the last minute to accept Jesus. Because when they do they miss out on something awesome and wonderful. No relationship, and no one, nothing, can compare to how wonderful it is to have Jesus in your life every day. Oh how I hope and pray that God will give me opportunities and what to do and say to get others to receive Him. Whether people are going to expire soon or not for a long time. It is urgent that they accept Jesus today! Right now!

Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12, Man is like a breath; His days are like a passing shadow. Psalm 144:4 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28, For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6: 23, Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called "today", lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, while it said today if you will hear His voice, don not harden your hearts as in rebellion. Hebrew 3:12-15
