What a Friend, What a Father, What a Helper, What a God!  I am in awe! Amen

A Father To The Fatherless

A Father to the fatherless in every way.

I listen as my heavenly Father encourages me today.

He guides me and He leads me and teaches me what's right.

He even stands beside me as I say my prayers at night.

He encourages me and supports me in all the good things I set out to do.

And there is no lacking of my heart hearing Him say I love you.

A Father to the fatherless in every way.

If you need a Fathers help and love, come to Him today.

It doesn't matter who you are or how bad you've been.

Just open up Your heart and humbly ask Him in.

He can lift your heavy burdens and He will free you from sin.

You will become His brand new baby girl or boy.

And there will be no end to your new joy!

A Father to the fatherless in every way.

Come take the hand of your Father and walk with Him today.

Father Encouragement

When I was growing up my uncle who was raising me didn't spend much time with me. He was always to busy to give me encouragement, or guidance, or support. These things are very important to a young person when they are growing up. I have forgiven my uncle because God has given me a loving and understanding heart towards him. Today my heavenly Father gives me encouragement, guidance, support, and more! But because I am not use to it, He sometimes has to give me a pretty good nudge in those areas. My neighbors next door are moving. At the beginning of the week God was nudging me to pray with them. I am a very shy person. I wrestled with it all week. I really wanted to pray for them and with them, but I was chicken. Today I could see, feel, and hear from Father that nudge to pray only more urgently. It was as if  He was saying, "You better pray with them today or it will be to late and they will be gone." I tried my usual excuse of  there are to many people around. I don't know what to pray. I can pray for them alone with You Father. And a few other lame excuses. Then finally I took a deep breath and went over to their house to pray. The only one there was my neighbors wife. Some how I felt God saying that this is right and proper that I should pray with her. Because her husband had lots of things on his mind as he and others where loading the u-haul. The children were to excited to handle pray at that time. The wife just happen to have a little spare time and was taking a break. Perfect! So I held hands with her and I prayed. God gave me just the right things to pray about. Such as safety for their trip, protection for them as a family, God's blessing and provision for them in the year ahead, and I prayed for and about their children and more!  She told me that I would never really know how much that meant to her. I will miss my neighbors. But I am so glad for my Father's nudge that did not let me miss out on praying for them.

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly and affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Romans 12:9-18
