Assurance comes by faith and faith comes by hearing God's word and getting to know really know Him. It's hard to have trust or faith in some one you don't know or hardly know.

A Heart Of Thanks

Thank You Lord for all those years of bible study and prayer.

They have helped me to see You and know that You care.

Thank You for all the people who have written songs about You.

Through them I gained faith and learned not to doubt You.

Thank You for each testimony that ever came to my ears.

They have convinced me of Your love, faithfulness, and power over my fears.

Thank Your for this planet I live on.

For here I see Your handiwork with each new dawn.

All I see and know and here.

Helps these eyes of mine to see You more clear.

And though daily the devil tries to hide Your glory from me.

 Your gracious gift of love through Jesus helps my eyes to see.

Your In Good Hands

"Your in good hands with All State." was a slogan for an insurance company. Insurance companies are suppose to give you money to help you, after something happens to your home, possessions, or spouse. Also some insurance companies look after your family if you die. Alas they can not insure your soul.  Money is helpful but, it doesn't really replace the loss. "Your in the best hands with God." is my assurance company.  I can be sure that what ever I put in His hands, will be taken care of according to His will and purpose.  It is only when I take things out of God's hands, or walk away from Him that I lose my assurance. Sure things may happen that seem to me awful, yet I trust in Him that it is for my good. I also know that when I am in heaven I will see that it was good. I also know that God is God and He doesn't have to explain a thing to me. If  He is truly my God I will trust Him and take His word. Believing  that all things He did and allowed to happen were for my good. I know this is true. Because, as I look back I see that all the things that happened to me narrowed my path and led me to Him. Like all people I had the right to accept His assurance policy or leave it. Thank God I chose to accept it. As I get ready to go off on a two week vacation I no longer worry about my home, possessions, or spouse as I once did. And thanks to Him I know where my soul is going. Because I know that even though I have an earthly insurance, I also have something better. My heavenly assurance. God will not only restore to me what I need, but will heal my hurting heart over any loss, bring me comfort, and more. This I know because, my Heavenly Father loves me and I love Him and I can trust Him. Also my real treasures are in heaven, and the things I have on earth are wonderful gifts from my Heavenly Father. Nothing can take me or my treasures from Him. And if earthly Fathers are so good at giving gifts to their children, How much more so my Heavenly Father. So as you can see as I go off on vacation I am covered. So "I am in good hands with All mighty God."

Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Psalm 37:3-6, The just live by faith Hebrews 10:26-39, By faith we understand Hebrews 11:1-3, And as you can see faith never disappointed these folks Hebrews 11:4-40  My assurance comes by faith. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 After all can't have trust and faith in someone you don't know or know very well. Ready to get your assurance policy yet?
