"get in" it's important!

Get In

The phrase "Get in." can be very important. A car, boat, train, or plane, has power but cant take you anywhere if you don't "get in." A plan is useful and important to get a job done, or accomplish a mission. But, your clueless and useless if you don't "get in" on it. In times of danger a hiding place like a cave, a closet, or whatever is great! However it will do you no good if you don't "get in." A time of fellowship can be wonderful! If you are willing to "get in" on it by participating. A nutritious meal is good, but won't do you any good if it doesn't "get in "you. There are many more examples of why "get in" can mean a lot in ones life. There are some things that hold me back from "getting in" and thus causes me to miss out. Fear is the number one thing that holds me back. It kept me out of  planes for a long time. Fear of failing, being in adequate, unequal, and plain also kept me from asking to be allowed in on plans and fellowshipping. Weak will power and lack of discipline has kept me from getting in knowledge and good nutrition. Thinking I can take care of things myself, or not thinking and just doing has kept me from hiding in Jesus when I should have. There are two kinds of Christians. Those who walk with Jesus and have Him beside them and those that are in Him and He is in them. The first of the two groups try to handle or work things out on their own with His help. The other group know that they are helpless and know that they must live in Him and have Him in them in order to have any power at all. (Vine Life) This is where the "get in" phrase is very important in my life. I must get as much of Jesus in me as I can in order to live life to it's best, safest, and fullest. I must get as deep into Jesus as possible  for the same reason. So if I "get in" to Him and He "gets in" to me my life will glorify and reflect Him and people will know Him more. Which is my hearts desire.

I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as we are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and loved them as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I know You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You have loved Me may be in them. John17:20-26
