The only way to get Jesus out for others to see is to get Him inside of me.

Have Your Way With Me
Here I am oh Lord coming to your throne.
On my knees with broken heart I atone.
Then my heart sends you a plea.
Lord have your way with me.
As you speak the words forgiven your love I 'm shown.
Here I am Lord your servant all alone.
Waiting upon you to command or take me home.
Then my heart sends up a plea.
Lord have your way with me.
As I look to you your will and my path are made known

The Weather
People see sunny days in different ways. In the summer it's often called too hot. When it's too hot no one wants to be out in the sun long, because they don't want to get burnt. In the spring people love to feel those first warm rays of the sun. We too can be like warm inviting spring sunshine, or we can blister someone with our words, attitudes, and deeds just like the summer sun. When we hear thunder roar, feel the wind whip, and see lightening flash we run for cover. Ever notice how people cringe or cower when people yell, lash out, and glare fire flashing from their eyes? Yet most people love a soft spring rain or a warm summer rain. People usually like being around people who are soft spoken and warm with a soft kind heart. How about hail storms! Hail stings as it comes pelting down. Pelting someone with angry words sting worse than hail. Snow can freeze someone to death. When we are icy and cold we push people not only away from us, but sometimes right out of churches! Tornadoes uproot everything and destroy whatever is in their paths. When we gossip and twist words we too may uproot someone, or worse still destroy them. Most people love a gentle breeze because it can cool and soothe you on a hot day. When we treat people gently we too soothe and can even help cool someone down.  I hope I always remember to check my weather. It's my desire to stay sunny, warm and clear. The Lord teaches me so much through whatever or whoever is around me, but only when I stay open to Him.
In proverbs it say "go watch the ant you sluggard", Jesus said "behold the sparrow", and "behold the lilies". I want to take Jesus with me everywhere all the time because when I do I grow.
