It is good to go back to the basics and just look sometimes. It helps to refresh me and it helps me to get a fresh grip on things. This page was finished at 1:11 a.m. so I guess that makes this Thursday. I have found I can have some really special times with God late at night and early morning. He is merciful that He doesn't have me do it every night or I would be a wreck. But you know what I wish I could!

My Life In Living Color

When I was in sin darkness was all around I couldn't see I was headed for death. (Black)

Then I by Jesus I was found He gave me light, filled me with life's sweet breath. (Red)

I was broken, wounded, deaf, dumb, and blind.

Jesus made me whole, He healed my spirit, soul, and mind. (Blue)

I am so weak and always needing of  help every day.

Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to guide and teach me and help me along the way. (Gold)

I am so grateful for all God has done.

I am so grateful to the Holy Spirit and God's Son.

My sins where like scarlet but don't you know,

 Jesus washed me now I'm whiter than snow. (White)

I cant wait to get to heaven to worship Him for always.

To give Him glory and thanks and honor for all my days.

The Wonderful World Of Color

When I was a child and heard the words the wonderful world of color it usually meant Disney was coming on television and it was Sunday night right after my bath. So there I would sit in my comfy robe and slippers watch Disney's documentaries about nature. You know the song, "The world is a kaleidoscope of color. Wonderful, magical, mystical world of color." Anyway I know now where all that wonderful color comes from and it isn't any mystery or magic. It comes from God that makes it something even better it is beautiful, majestic, and awesome because it shows forth His handy work. So I give Him all glory thanks and praise for it. But this is not what I want to talk about. What I want to talk about are some colors that have some special meaning for me. When I first came to the Lord I learned about Where I was be for Jesus. I was dead and in the darkness. The color representation of that part of my life is Black (Sin). (The wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23) Then I met Jesus and believed on Him and what He did for me on the cross. I accepted Him and asked Him into my heart and my life. The color representation of  that part of my life is Red ( Jesus the Savior). (But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8-9) I was pretty messed up when I came to the Lord and very hurt, wounded, and broken. Over theses past 14 years of walking with the Lord He has done a lot of healing and repairing. I can honestly say I never dreamed I could feel so well and whole as I do today and He isn't done with me yet! The color representation of this part of my life is Blue (Jesus the Healer). (By His stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5, He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3) God also sent me another wonderful blessing in my life. That blessing was the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit helps me pray, praise, understand scripture, speak to God when I cant find the words (through speaking in tongues a heavenly language). The Holy Spirit stirs my conscience helping me to know right and wrong and helping me to choose God's will. He helps me to recognize God's voice and His will. He helps me witness to others about God in my life and so much more! The color  representation of this part of my life is Gold (Jesus the one who baptizes me with the Holy Spirit). (He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. Matthew 3:11) I love, believe, and trust God with all my heart. I look forward to the day when I will no longer sin. The day when there will be no more sin. I long for all the darkness to be gone forever. I cant wait to behold Him in His full glory and majesty rightfully adored. Like the song says we shall see the King we shall see the King when He comes. He is coming In power and we will hail the blessed hour. We will see the King when He comes. The color representation of this part of my life is Purple. (Jesus the soon coming King) (And He shall reign for ever and ever! Revelation 11:15) Some day I will be rejoicing with my Lord and my brothers and sisters in Jesus in heaven. Thanks to be to The Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit I will be made new. With a new name and new body. Everything will be clean fresh and new! The color representation of this part of my life is White (Jesus my Champion in Him I win) (Read these and get excited!
