Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. This being true; then Lord not only be in me but, be on me, through me and saturate me. Amen

A Soldiers Prayer/ Song

I fight personal battles every day.

My God strengthens me all along the way.

His word teaches me right from wrong.

The Holy Spirit keeps them in my heart and mind to keep me strong.

So  spiritually on my knees each day I stay.

Trusting God with each prayer I pray.

I am strengthen and encouraged as I keep my eyes upon the Cross.

I fight and I reach out to the lost.

Our victory is sure of this I know.

For we are kept by a mighty God who loves us so.

May I Your soldier always bring You glory, honor and praise.

May we Your army Your anthem always raise. Amen

March Of The Toy Soldiers

I like the march of the toy soldiers whether it is in music form, as in "The Nutcracker." Or in visual form as in the movie "Babes in toy land " To me the soldiers in "Babes in toy land" represent an army fighting for what is good, honest, true, and right. They also are fighting to protect the innocent and the weak. The music form of the soldiers in "The Nutcracker sounds so sweeping, majestic, and powerful. They sound like they are on the march with authority. The wooden soldiers I have seen that represents the ones in the movie and music look proud, straight, and strong. In the movie even though some get broken they march on. They fight against an evil foe. In Christian life I am no toy soldier but a real one. I too fight against evil foes the devil, lust of the flesh, lust of the eye, and pride of life, and more. I too fight for what is good, honest, right, and true. The only way I can really know what is good, honest, right and true is to meet with God daily, listen to the Holy Spirit and study God's word. I also fight for the innocent and the weak. The only way I am able to do that is by God's grace and calling for of myself I can do nothing. So it is during these times of defending others I call on God the most. When I am shoulder to shoulder with my Christian brothers and sisters physically and spiritually; I am  a part of a sweeping majestic army and in Jesus we are powerful. Even when I am alone I am still part of that unseen army of prayer warriors and believers. We do march with authority. We have authority and power that comes from Jesus and what He did on the cross. We have authority and power of God who always hears and answers our prayers. We have authority and power of the Holy Spirit who guides us and leads us in all truth. As a soldier in God's army most of the time; I do stand proud, straight, and strong. Especially when I stand with my brothers and sister in Jesus. But there are times in my personal life when I get broken. I pray during those times for the strength to continue to march on in the Lord. That I may bring glory and honor to Him and the Father and the Holy Spirit. I pray that I will not bring shame to my brothers and sisters in Jesus; but instead I will bring them encouragement, and cause them to turn and give thanks and praise to God. The daily battle is tough, but thanks be to God because of Him I am tougher.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. Isaiah 61:1-3, And as scripture says I am to resist the devil so he will flee, I am to fight the good fight, I am to strengthen the feeble knees, be a voice for the voiceless, and much, much more! I am not a part of a sleepy lazy army! Nor am I allowed to be a lazy soldier! God's God an army and it is always on the move day and night as a whole and as individual soldiers. God doesn't sleep, neither does the devil and neither can I!
