If  I have wealth or am poor as poor can be. As long as I have Jesus that is enough for me. Amen.

A Song Of  Thanks

Thank You Lord for all I have. For life, health, home and all provision.

Thank You for your guidance and good counsel in all my decisions.

 I know that my life and all I have are gifts from You.

I pray I will do with it as You would want me to.

I thank You for the treasured stored securely in You too.

My treasures of salvation, peace, and a relationship with You.

And I thank You for any heavenly reward, jewel or crown.

That I way have to lay at Your feet as before You I worship and bow down. Amen.

It's In The Bank

"It's as good as in the bank", was an old way of saying something was as good as done. But in some of the old movies when a person said, "That it's as good as in the bank" you knew it wasn't. Usually it was a bad guy saying it and the cops or someone would stop them. Also the term, "You can bank on it." meant the same thing. Banks are suppose to be a secure place where you can keep your money and valuables if you have a safety deposit box. But as everyone knows backs can be robbed or go out of business. If all lost all my earthly goods today I would still be rich. I would be sad about some of my losses. But I have made investments that can't be stolen. The time I have invested in God has rewarded me with a great relationship with Him. The time I invested in learning about God has resulted in the reward of faith. No matter what gets stolen from me here on earth and no matter how poor and destitute I become in the worlds eyes I am still rich. For I know whom I believe in and I know that He is able to take care of me. Even more I know He loves me and will never leave me and will take care of me. Everything I have from friends, to belongings, and life are all gifts from God. There is nothing that I have that isn't His and nothing that I have that He didn't give me. And investing daily in the building of my faith and hope and knowledge of Him has rewarded me with peace. There is nothing I don't trust Him with. I would not have these treasures of  salvation, faith, trust, hope, peace, or a relationship with God if  I did not take the time to invest in them. The more time I invest in them the more these treasures grow. There are other treasures that I am investing in too. Such as wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and love. I am investing in an orchard as I spend time trying to develop the fruits of the spirit in my life. The bible is full of many good investment plans. And I guarantee that this bank wont get robbed or go out of business as long as I stay in Him. But if  I stop investing or withdraw it all I will lose. 

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is there your heart will be also. Matthew 619-21, If you seek her (wisdom) as silver, and search for her (wisdom) as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding Proverbs 2:4-6, Faith an investment with great rewards Hebrews 11:1-40, 12:1-2. Unsearchable riches Ephesians 3:8,
