All year long I want to give a gift to my heavenly Father that,  most children want to give to their parents. I want to be good, I want to obey. Like most children I have days when I do really good and some when I do bad. I pray this year I will have more days of doing good than bad. Amen!!

To Be Like You

Lord all I want for Christmas is to be more like you.

Always obeying the Father and doing as I see Him do.

Lord all I want for Christmas is to be a joy and blessing to you.

Loving and helping others too.

Lord all I want for Christmas is to be more like you.

So help me hear The Holy Spirit and your voice.

Help me make right choices.

Guide me in all I do.

Lord all I want for Christmas is to be like you.

My Christmas Wish List

Every year my husbands parents ask us to send them a wish list. Each year it gets harder to think of what to put on it. It usually ends up a need more than a want list because I am pretty content. So I might ask for things like different colored sewing thread, thick socks, and cloth tape measures. On the fun side I might ask for family circle, or woman's day magazine. Then there is the hidden wish list of the heart. The one where I ask what can I give Jesus not just for christmas but everyday. This year I wish to give Him praise every day to bless Him from His head to His toes. I wish to give Him my prayerful heart to bless His ears and the lives of those He loves. I wish to give Him and the Holy Spirit all my attention when I am studying His word. I wish to give Him my willing hands and feet ready to go and do what ever He tells me to. I wish to give Him my eyes to search and seek for ways to serve Him, to see needs and fill them. I wish to give Him my ears always listening for His voice and truly listening to those He sends my way. I wish to give Him my lips for His use, and to tell others of Him. I wish to give Him every fiber of my being as a trophy to shine forth His glory for ever. I want to give The Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit all these things and more because I love them and am grateful for my salvation.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1  Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15  Give thanks with a grateful heart give thanks to the Holy One because He has given us Jesus Christ His Son.  Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice!
