God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit have all that I need. They are my source for everything. They are there all the time for me to draw from. I must not let the things of life distract me from drawing from them daily.
Seeing And Giving Thanks
I am just a vapor. Just a speck of dust.
In You I pray to find favor. In You I put my trust.
Once I was without substance or form.
You placed me in my mother loving and warm.
I was born into a world of sin.
I walked as one dead until I asked You in.
Now I draw daily from Your well.
In You I try to dwell.
You are my source.
You are all I need to run this course.
I give thanks for the new life You have given me.
I give thanks for new eyes with which to see.
I give thanks for all You provide as well.
I give thanks for ransoming my soul from hell.
Draw Partner
"Draw partner", says the cowboy at the show down. In the old west when anyone said, "Draw partner." When cowboys draw it is their guns. Their guns to them were a source of power, strength, and protection. It usually meant that someone or something was going to die when ever they drew their guns. Jesus stands and says, "Draw partner." And it means life and fullness of it. Every day He calls me His partner. Because He wants me to partner with Him, (that means work with Him) on the plans He has for my life. When Jesus says, "Draw partner." He means for me to draw upon Him (my source). For such things as strength, hope, joy, peace, wisdom, help, and more. As I study God's word and learn of Him and His ways I draw upon Him for other things too. Such as the morals I live by, who I can become as I grow to be more like Him. You see Jesus is my source that I draw from for all that I am today, all that I can become tomorrow, and all that I will ever be in the future. To draw from Jesus is to move forward and grow, not backwards and stagnate. So to all the cowboys and cowgirls and everyone else who thinks they are to tough to need Jesus; I say, "Draw partner."
But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all Your works. Psalm 73:28, Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and my song; He has also become my salvation. Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:2-3, Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8
