Frustration and anger could be a foothold for the devil. But with God's help it wont be, with God's help it will be a place of victory over the devil for me! Amen!
Cry For Help
Lord nothing seems to be going right.
My being like you seems so far out of sight.
Come Lord Jesus help me to be strong.
Help me be like you doing right not wrong.
Help me be aware that sin awaits me.
Help me stop and pray until the devil flees.
Help me get free.
Make me more like you please.
Where Is...
Where is the scissors, my papers I was working on, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Not being able to find something can be frustrating especially when you need it now. Having to stop and look for something for someone else can be a bother too, when your already busy. What causes frustration for me a lot of times is the fact that things are not in order or put back where they belong. Another thing that causes my frustration is not being prepared. Another cause is lack of patience with myself and others. Frustration is a thorn in my side, because it leads to anger, self pity, or tears as my poor little mind screams I can't do this or I don't get it. I want to handle my frustration better. I want to be calm, have peace, react in a nice way. There is only one way I can see to do that. The way to handle frustration better is to: 1. stop as soon as I realize I am getting frustrated. 2. ask God to help me, or ask Him what should I do. 3. don't say anything until I calm down and can think logically. 4.don't take any action or do anything until I am calm. These are a few ideas I have. Putting these ideas into practice like all things connected with learning and changing, takes determination and discipline. I must start today and not give up until the Lord comes.
Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid. Proverbs 12:1 Be angry, and do not sin. do not let the sun go down on your wrath. Ephesians 4:26 Love suffers long and is kind; 1 Corinthians 13:4 Don't give place to the devil. Ephesians 4:27
