What kind of student am I in God's school of life?
Asking To Be Taught
For more wisdom, love, and understanding I cry.
Lord don't let Your lessons pass me by.
Holy Spirit please don't ever go away.
But come and teach me His ways each day.
Help me to do unto others as I should.
Never let me weary of doing good.
O Lord I long to bring You glory, honor, and praise.
And to be Your obedient child all my days. Amen
Graduation
Soon school will be out for the summer. And for those graduating it will be over for a long time, except those going to college. Or so they think. For really all of us are in spiritual school for ever. I have been learning in God's spiritual school now for about 14 years. And what kind of student am I ? I mean do I really learn from my mistakes. Am I willing to admit when I am wrong? And then try to learn what is right? Do I try to help my fellow classmates? Am I respectful to all the teachers God sends my way? Do I study daily? Do I participate in school activities (church, fellowship, bible studies or prayer meetings, etcetera.)? Do I invite my Father to get involved with my education? One things for sure He will be at my graduation! But will He be proud of me? Will my conduct in the school of life bring Him honor? As I think about people graduating this year, I find myself reflecting on these things and more. I think it is time to examine my conduct, learning skills, study skills and more. For I do love my Father and want to do my best and be my best for Him. May all glory and honor be His forever. Amen
