Y2k to me it reminds me to always say YES 2(to) King (Jesus).
A Prayer
Lord I thank you for your loving care.
Fill me with with more of you that your love I may share.
Fill me with The Holy Spirit that I may help others see you everywhere.
Thank you, Thank you, Lord for always being there for me.
Fill me deep and wide inside and outside that I may provide for somebody.
Give me wisdom, understanding and grace,
That I may help others to meet you face to face.
That I may help others every day.
Because inside and outside we all need you in every way.
Y2k
I don't know what will happen during y2k. I have done all I can think of spiritually and physically to prepare. I believe it is wisdom to prepare spiritually and physically because, if something happens you can help yourself and others. On the other hand if nothing happens you can still use your preparedness to reach out to others with. I am not fearful about y2k. I belong to the Lord and I want to be with Him for ever. Y2k can't separate me from Him nothing can except, my own choice to denounce Him which I refuse to do. I have peace for what lays ahead because I trust Him. For me to do nothing about y2k seems to show lack of wisdom. I don't want to just do something as the world would put it "looking out for number one". Because of Jesus in me I don't see me as number one. I want to prepare for y2k and everyday and in every way that I might always be able to help others and be available for God's use. I am not ashamed to live like Jesus may come back at any moment, and yet prepare like He won't be here for another year.
Proverbs 31 10:31 talks about how as a woman I should provide for my home and others. 1 Timothy 5:8 tells that if I don't provide for elderly and widows I am worse than unbelievers. Matthew 25:1-12 talks of the wisdom of being prepared and the foolishness of unpreparedness. Romans 13:8-10 tells me about loving others. Romans 14:7-8 tells me I don't belong me I belong to God. John 21:15-17 reminds me that I should look out for the spiritual and physical welfare of others. (feed, tend,)
