I can find peace and relaxation in many places and things. But they all remind me of  God from where my peace truly comes. Thank you Father. Amen

Peace

Peace be still my heart.

Listen to God's commands and do not depart.

Sit at God's feet and learn His ways.

There you can find peace and happiness for all your days.

Peace be still my heart.

Listen as the singing of the angels start.

God is on His throne.

All is in His hands.

Peace be in your home.

Obey all His commands.

Be guided no more to roam.

In the midst of your praises He stands.

Peace And Relaxation

I find something very peaceful and calming about sitting quietly outside watching the sun go down.  It seems like I can almost hear and see the Lord putting the earth to bed. First the sunlight becomes soft and the noise dies down to a hush. It's like father came in the room and turn down the light and said gently settle down now and go to sleep. Even the wind calms down for a little while just before the dark. Then it gets dark and like all good fathers He leaves us a night light (the moon and stars). Another way that I relax is by sitting in a hot bubble bath or a hot tub. Water to me is so soothing. My heavenly Father must have thought of that too when He put me in a warm safe sack of  water in my mothers womb. Being in the woods no matter what time of year relaxes me. There is something about the smell of earth and greenery, and majesty of the trees, and the soft sounds of the birds and animals, that makes me feel so peaceful. Rightly so for in the woods I am surrounded by the beautiful things that God has created. When I sing hymns, pray, and go to church I feel at peace too. My whole world could be crumbling all around me. But when I pray, sing, or  listen to the word of God being taught, to me it's like saying base or safe when playing a game of tag. At that moment I am so much in God's hands that nothing can get me but Him, and that's what I want I have other things that are relaxing candles,  Fireplaces with roaring fires, (where ever His light is there is peace) and much more.

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3 "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Colossians 4:7
