The more I seek to know God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit the more I find. I am like one who has found an unending vein of Gold. I am rich and getting richer.

The Joy Of Seeking

Lord I seek you each and every day.

I look every where for you even though you never go away.

The searching I am doing is not for what I can see.

It's for what I can be as I get more of you in me.

And I know you love me because you daily draw me closer to your side.

Yes I can see your love as you reveal yourself  no you do not hide.

I fall to my knees in joy and thanksgiving.

For each day I seek I see more of  My God so loving and forgiving.

And because of my seeking you each day I can truly know the joy of living.

Seek  And Search

When I was a child there was games like hide and seek, button button who's got the button, and there were puzzles like search a word. Today children play where is waldo, or  where is carmen, and word search is still around. The reward for doing well at these games for me was finding whatever it was I was seeking, and believe me I put all my effort into finding what I was looking for. So when I did good it was a big thrill to me, I felt good. There is something special I seek now more than I have ever looked for anyone or anything in my whole life. That someone is Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit. I know that they are with me every day. What I seek is a closer relationship with them. I long to know them more and hear their voice more clearly, that I may obey them and help others. All through the bible we read of people who where seeking to know God, and of people seeking Jesus, and people were seeking to know the Holy Spirit as they waited in the upper room. I am glad to know I am part of that line of seekers. I am sure they would agree with me that no cost is to great to pay to know God more. The reward of this search is wonderful! Oh the Joy that floods my soul as I draw nearer to God. There is something so good in this search that I hope it never stops until He takes me home, because I can't get enough of  Him or close enough to Him. Yet I know He loves me at wants me to know Him just as deeply as I am seeking to know Him and more. So I know I don't seek in vain.

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7 If then you where raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1 Wise men, women, and children still seek Him.
