I never realized how bad procrastination was until I examined it. It makes me think I better check out this vessel of God's and see what other leaks may need fixing!

A Prayer

Lord don't let me sit idle and watch men die.

Help me lead them to You upon whom they can rely.

Lord keep me busy doing the Father's will.

Lord over flow me as my heart you fill.

 Guide me and lead me in all I say and do.

Give me a servants heart, make me a joy and a blessing to You. Amen

Procrastination

Procrastination is the title of a game. It is also something I have been very good at in the past, and when over whelmed am still good at. Procrastination is very dangerous. If  I procrastinate for long my house will go to ruin. If  I procrastinate and don't go to the doctors a curable illness could kill me. If  I procrastinate I may not tell others about God, or pray, or grow a relationship with God. Procrastination can be caused by, being over whelmed, fearful of failure, and laziness to name a few. Laziness is a scary one, because laziness can lead to idleness, self centeredness, and or depression. Idleness can lead to sin and or stinking thinking. Stinking thinking can take me into my past where I don't want to go, or lead me into present or future thoughts that are just plain bad. So I have chosen to battle procrastination in my life.

The hand of the diligent will rule, but the lazy man will be put to forced labor. Proverbs 12:24 Laziness cast one into deep sleep, and an idle person will suffer hunger. Proverbs 19:15 Because of laziness the building decays, and through idleness of hands the house leaks. Ecclesiastes 10:18 I also believe idleness gives the devil an opening. Nor give place to the devil. Ephesians 4:27 I also believe it leads to gossip. And besides they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not. 1 Timothy 5:13
