I can go on a treasure hunt and not even have leave home to do it. And if  I was in a hospital bed I wouldn't have to even leave there to go treasure hunting.

My Treasure

Lord you are my greatest treasure.

To have You in my life is wealth with out measure.

I can not comprehend the fullness of my wealth.

You bless me with life, love, and health.

You have even given me your heart.

Which causes me to long to share the wealth. Where do I start.

May thanks and praise always be on my lips to You.

May my heart be full of love and obedience forever too.

I love you Lord there is no treasure as precious as you.

Treasure Hunt

I  always liked reading about treasure hunts, watching movies about treasure hunts, and documentaries about treasure hunts. There is something about searching for something with just a few clues that fascinates me kind of  like crossword puzzles do. What else I find fascinating is the search it's self  the excitement of maybe I will find something here and maybe I wont; then suddenly there is a glimmer of something. I really like to watch when a treasure hunt is rewarded with a big find. I think it is wonderful that treasure hunts can take place any where in the world, or in the ocean. I too go on a treasure hunt quite often. Spiritually I have found a Pearl of great price (Matthew 13:46), treasure (2 Corinthians 4:6,7) (Proverbs 3:13). I won't mention all the treasures I have found. Those treasures I uncovered on a treasure hunt in the bible. I have other treasures too. Some special times I have had with Jesus, and God's presence are some wonderful treasures I discovered during prayer time at the foot of my bed, and when I have been out for a walk. I have seen glimpses of God's glory and felt His presence in an awesome way; this treasure I discovered during praise service at church on Sundays and at prayer and praise on Wednesday nights. I treasure my salvation, my life, my husband, my brothers and sisters in Jesus and guess what it was only in Him I could find those treasures. The wonderful thing is I can go on treasure hunts until the Lord takes me home, then I will discover all the treasure I have stored there. (Matthew 6:19-21). In the Gold rush days people got gold fever, me I have treasure hunting fever. The Beverly hillbilly's song talks about black gold (oil that is) to me black gold fever is an unquenchable desire to treasure hunt in the bible.
