Lord I know you have a purpose for my life. Help me to full fill it. Please don't let me miss any opportunities. Amen

I Can See Clearly Now The Reign Has Come 

Here In this world so cold and demanding.

Here in this world there is a need for love and understanding.

And so I give my hand to you my friend.

I want to introduce to someone who will love and help you to the end.

And so I give my hand to You my King.

I ask You to Help us O Lord take away life's sting.

Cold and hungry tired and poor.

I wont turn you from my door.

Because I've been there once before.

Come and enter in warm your heart and soul my friend.

With Jesus you can begin again.

A new and better life waits for you ask Him in.

I've Been There Now I'm Here

I can really relate to the homeless because I have been there. Rainy cold days like today remind me of  times when I wandered around cold, wet, tired with no place to go. Eventually I would find an overhang, a place under a freeway overpass where I could sit and cat nap. Exhaustion was the only reason I could cat nap, because I would still be wet and cold. Because of stupid things I did I had rough encounters with the police. Because of  some of  the places I went and people I hung around I was beaten very severely. Sometimes when things were real bad I went hungry. I've been thirsty to the point of crying. Even though I have been through a lot there are many I am sure who have gone through a lot more. But for the most part when the homeless talk I can say "I understand I've been there". I want to tell others of someone else who has been there Jesus. The bible says He had no place to lay His head.( Matthew 8:20) He knew about thirsty (John 19:28)  He knew exhaustion, He was beaten, and more! He understands all my joys, all my pains, all my sorrows. Because He has understands Now I am here, offering love and understanding to those who's joys and sufferings I can relate to. Now I am here offering a helping hand. Now I am here introducing others to one who can relate to them, who cares for them, and can help them more than I. (Jesus is the one). Now I am here whole, healed, safe in my Fathers arms. Now I am here Forgiven. Now I am here in the kingdom of God with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Now I am here to give thanks to God and to serve.

Isaiah Chapter 53 tells about The One who understands us, so does Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. But these books not only tells about Jesus understanding us but it even shows us examples of  His love and understanding. The bible it's self  tells about God who is all knowing and understanding and there is no place we can go where He isn't or hasn't been. But I am very happy that He sent The Holy Spirit to be with me always, to comfort, guide, and understand me.
