Lord help me take out the garbage today and replace it with good Godly things. And Lord help me be more aware and help me to not let in any more garbage. Help me to especially not put any garbage out that someone else might come across. Amen

 From Old To New

I've been bombarded by this world all my life.

Filled with shameful things and strife.

I come to You and lift my hands.

Cleanse me Lord help me obey your commands.

Deliver me from the things that are not of  You.

Fill me with Your Spirit and make me new.

All I was is now dead and gone.

All I am and will be comes alive in God's Son with each dawn.

Garbage in Garbage Out

 I am not going to talk just about computers, even though the title of this page brings them to mind. I have taken in a lot of garbage over the years of my life. I have watched to much violence, and things with bad morals on television and in the movies. I have listened to many songs with corrupted messages. I have read to many magazines that have killed my self esteem by images of how beautiful, successful, happy, exciting women should be. I am sure there has been other ways garbage has seeped in that I haven't discovered yet. The garbage has given me low self esteem, a warped view of the world and life, and leaves my mind open to bad thoughts. The garbage I have taken in also led to a lot of what I went through before Jesus, and I wouldn't want to go there again. Now for the good news Jesus is great at taking out the garbage! Ways He does it for me is He has changed the way I view the world and my self. He has caused me to be loving and sensitive which causes me to hate violence more each day. He has showed me how sick and ugly bad morals are so I hate that too. He has given me not only Christian hymns, and other Christian music to listen to, but sometimes gives me some of my own to write and sing. He has showed me the truth about what a beautiful, successful, happy, exciting woman looks like. Guess what they come in all forms, shapes, sizes, colors, even though none of them look the same; they all have the same element they love Jesus and are filled with the Holy Spirit. The more Jesus takes out the garbage the better I feel. This doesn't mean I have arrived far from it. Daily I have to ask Jesus to help me take out the garbage. As He makes me aware of it I have to get rid of  it.
