I think the Glory of God seen through Spiritual eyes is more beautiful than the glory of God seen with physical eyes. Everyone can see a cloud, mist, or gold dust. But how many really see God? Where ever God is there is His glory, it isn't like a light that turns off and on.
Asking To See God's Glory
God I don't want to miss out on any of Your Glory!
Help me to see some of it everyday!
Help others to see it when I tell the gospel story.
Help us all to see it in each other as Your love we display.
Don't allow the devil to keep it undercover don't allow him to hide it away.
You tore away the veil so everyone could see Your glory when they come to You.
Now when we praise we see Your glory shining through hearts turned to you!
God we don't want to miss out on any of Your Glory!
Help us to see some of it everyday!
Don't let us settle for someone else's story.
Help us to see it here and now we pray!
Did You See That!
Did you see that! Which is usually followed by awesome! Was phrases I heard a lot when my husband and I went places with the youth group he taught. These phrases where usually applied to things like sights they never saw before, or things they never saw done before, or something beyond there comprehension. Today people are looking everywhere hoping to see the glory of God, which would fit all the above that I just mentioned. What makes me sad, is when people think that to see God's glory is to see gold dust, fire, a cloud, mist, or some other such thing. I know that in the bible He was seen as a pillar of fire and a cloud. But when people only look for those forms of God's glory they miss out. Look at me not only did God say me but He has and is changing my life from something evil to something good. That's seeing God's glory! Because just like when the ark of God was captured someone said "the glory of God has departed from Israel"; so would someone be right to say "the glory of God has departed from her" if I went back to the way I was before Jesus saved me. God's glory is seen also when His people display His love, mercy, grace, kindness, and His other wonderful attributes. When a church is cold and doesn't display the attributes of God it can be said "the glory of God has departed from that place". His glory can be seen when someone gets saved, when someone has victory over sin, when someone is delivered from there troubles. Like it says in Psalm 24 Who is the king of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. If I never see God's glory in a pillar of fire or gold dust it's more than ok with me because, more and more He reveals His glory to my spiritual eyes. I get to see glory that's not begged for, conjured up, faked, or that will grow stale. The glory He shows me is to wonderful for me and I know it's only a glimpse or fraction of His glory. I think if He ever showed me all His glory or showed me a glimpse all the time I wouldn't be able to handle it. Each time He displays His glory all I can say is awesome! Maybe I should start saying to others did you see that!
If you have seen Jesus you have seen God's glory Zechariah 6:13, John 1:14, We His vessels show His glory Romans 9:23-24, 2Corinthians 3:18 Devil can blind us from seeing God's glory 2 Corinthians 4:4-6, Important learn to see the invisible 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, ( Arise shine for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.) Isaiah 60:1
