Lord Let Others See You In My Life

Lord help me display more of  You.

I long for others to know You too.

To know the God who saves me from life's stormy wave.

The God who chastises delivering me from sin's dreadful grave.

To know the God who loves me beyond all measure.

The God who gave His Son to purchase my salvation that I treasure.

Lord let them see my ups and downs.

My prayers, my tears, my  laughter, my frowns.

That they may know You are the God of  people living life.

That they may know Your there in their joy and strife.

Lord let them see that Your with me each day.

That when life is over they will know with You I stay.

Lord let them see You in my life that they may know the way.

What They See Is What They Get

I hope when people see my relationship with my husband they see more than just two people sharing the same name. I hope they see two people who really love and trust each other. I hope they see two people who support each other in times of trouble. I hope they see two people who enjoy each others company. I hope the see two people who have different opinions but with God's help work through them and remain intact. I hope they see two people who laugh, cry, and work together. I hope they see God at the center of our relationship. I hope they see that I am proud of my husband and enjoy who he is, and that he allows me to be my self and still loves me. None of this would be so if we did not have God at the center of our relationship. By center of our relationship I mean God comes first in our personal lives. God comes first in our married life. We talk to Him about everything. We listen to Him as He tells us how to work through things personally and in our marriage. We don't always obey of course like everyone we always fall short and always will until the Lord returns. So I am not saying we have a perfect marriage example. But with the grace of God we are a good one! I want so much for Young people to know that Marriage is wonderful! Beautiful! Wholesome, and Good! But it will only be so if God is at the center of it. He must be on the throne Lord of my life, my marriage, everything! But this article is not about my marriage to my earthly husband. It is about my relationship with The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. People can see my relationship with them too. At least I pray they can!  Would people know I love my husband if  I never show it or express it publicly? How will anyone know I love Jesus if  I never talk about Him or show my love for Him? Jesus said "If you love me you will obey my commandments" (John 14:15). How will anyone know that Jesus and I work through problems in my life if  I don't tell anyone? How will anyone know that a relationship with God is wonderful, beautiful, wholesome, and good if  I don't express or show my relationship with God to anyone. Jesus said "If you are ashamed of me I will be ashamed of you" (Mark 8:38). Well I am not ashamed of Him and especially not of my relationship with Him. If  He is chastising me let people see it and let the see me humble myself before Him and repent. Maybe then people will know that it is good it helps me grow. If  He is loving on me let people see it and see me loving on Him too. Maybe then people will know a relationship with God is real and good. Maybe they will want a relationship with Him too. I pray so.

Most assuredly, I say to you, we speak what we know and testify what we have seen, John 3:11, For you will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. Acts 22:15, You are My witnesses says the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me. I, even I am the Lord, and besides Me there is no savior. Isaiah 43:10-11. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem and in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8
