I am starting to wake up and learn about respect, reverence I don't think I really understood them like I do today.

American Prayer

Together we stand people of this land.

Under the covering of God.

Some have fought and died so we can stand.

On this God blessed sod.

We Lord are Your wheat though their be tares sown in.

Harvest us with mercy, help us flee from sin.

We are a people united by Your love.

Fill us with Your Spirit like a dove.

We soar like an eagle when we walk in You.

Help us to do right, help us to be true.

See the red, white, and blue flag we fly.

It stands for so many good things that it makes me cry.

Lord have mercy on America please don't let our forefathers vision die.

So many of us love You and Your commands we try to live by.

Fourth Of July

I love my country. I know it does stuff that I don't always agree with but it is still my country. I know I am ignorant about a lot of things that have to do with my rights and freedoms. But I also know that from what I have read and seen of other countries I am very well off. Because I live in America my Life has so much potential and possibilities that I wouldn't have else where. The thing I think about the most around Fourth Of July is the fact that many people died that I might enjoy what this country does offer me. Many people died for something they believed in, for a vision they had and because of there love for America the land and it's people. To go into detail for what they died for would take volumes. I encourage people to read about their country and those who died for us. I also love the other land I live in the Heavenly kingdom. One died so I may live there His name is Jesus. I scoffed at Jesus, religion, and America and was not worthy of anyone dieing for me. I only pray that now that I have understanding and know the truth; that I walk in a manner worthy of  the price paid by my Lord and Savior and the men and women who died for me. I weep now as I remember how awful I treated anything to do with Him and them. I am ashamed. I repent. I am also grateful for a forgiving Savior who I know has for given me. So some of my tears are mixed with gratitude. I pray that the families of those whose loved one died for this country will forgive my past actions and reactions towards this country and their memories. I give thanks with a grateful heart for what Jesus did for me. I give thanks with a grateful heart for the people who died for this country and thanks to their loved ones. Fourth of July a time for me to show gratitude and respect for those who died for me. I also want to give special thanks to the men and women who are enlisted today always ready to go and fight for America. I also want to give special thanks for those who are still living who fought for this country.

For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would eve dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8, Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. John 15:13-14
