Peace is something that grows the more I put myself in His hands. I am not giving up my rights. I am giving in my rights; into His hands.

In His Hands

When things go well and times are happy I turn to You with Joy.

I sing songs of praises.

Honor in all my phrases.

When things go wrong and times are sad I turn to You, Your help to employ.

I sing songs of  faith in You whom I believe in.

Trust is in all my phrases knowing in You I will win.

So in happy times or sad.

In good times or bad.

I sing unto You My God and My king.

Trust and praise in every phrase I sing.

For my life is in Your hands. My God what peace that brings.

No matter how or where life situation stands.

As long as I am in Your good hands.

I have peace and I can sing.

Your In Good Hands 

No this is not an all-state insurance commercial. Lot's of times I have heard people say to baby sitters," I know I am leaving my baby in good hands with you."  Or people say," I am leaving you in capable hands."  People usually say this to help others feel at ease and because they trust the one they are putting in charge. But alas sometimes humans fail and the ones we trust or put in charge sometimes let us down. But there is one who never fails or lets us down that one is Jesus. Sure sometimes we feel let down when things don't go our way but, we really aren't let down because although we don't see it at the time Jesus has done what is best for us. I know this can be hard to swallow when your hurting. God is a big God and not only does all things work out for our best but for the best of everyone even though at the time it seems far from it. When we meet Him face to face we will know this is true. The main point is to trust Him with everything. I know sometimes that is hard but, I have to exercise my free will that He gave me and say "For all I Trust Him." I have to exercise my faith in Him. Sometimes I even have to cry out like the man in the bible, "I believe; Lord help my unbelief!" There are so many things in life out of my control. There are lots of people in authority making decisions that affect my life. These decisions sometimes are out of my control. Such as decisions made by my husband at work, church councils, the government, even friends and more. But my life is in God's hands and I trust Him. If  decisions that are made out of my control turn out to be good I rejoice, if they turn out bad I pray God will use me to help others through it. That He would make me a help not a hindrance. Sometimes I know about decisions that affect my life and I can contribute some input. Sometimes I don't know about decisions that affect my life until later and some decisions I will never know about. Knowing I am in good hands with Jesus is giving me a blessed assurance and peace. I need not ask anyone why didn't you tell me and let me give some input. Who am I that I think anyone should have to consult me. Don't get me wrong I like it if they do. I feel that it is a right and polite thing for me to do concerning others. But if they don't I still love them and I don't feel upset as I once would. Because no matter what anyone does or decides I am still in God's hands and for all I trust Him and with all I trust Him. In turmoil or in peace I am in Good Hands because I am in God's hands.

And David said to Gad, "I am  in great distress. Please let us fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man." 2 Samuel 24:14, But as for me, I will trust in you, O Lord; I say, "You are my God." My times are in Your hand; Psalm 31:14-15
