Touch in word and in deed is not to be taken lightly or for granted. Yet everyday I touch someone in some way. Lord have mercy and help me to touch rightly. Amen I pray I will also touch God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit rightly and with love, respect and awe. Help me Holy Spirit. Amen.

Touch

Lord I thank You for my hands and for my heart.

I willingly give them for Your touch to impart. 

Lord I thank You for all You do through me.

Now Lord let my love and praises touch thee.

You have heard me Lord while for the good of others I did seek.

May my thanks and praise touch You as a child's kiss upon Your cheek.

Continue to live in me. Live through me. I pray.

Help me to grow in faith and be like You more each day.

Hold me close as in praise and ways I cling to You.

Know O Lord in all my ways for all my days I love You too.

Reach Out And Touch

Reach out and touch someone is part of an old telephone commercial. It still is a good idea. It is good to stay in touch with family and friends who are fear away. It is also good for me to reach out to people all around me. To reach out to people who need comfort, love, reassurance, a friend, someone in need, and more. It is better I have found if  I can reach out and touch them with more than words but, that's not always possible. But in all this reaching out and touching I pray I never forget to reach out and touch the one who makes me able to do so. So how can I reach out and touch God? I can pray, praise, and live my life for Him. I can be a willing, available servant. Like loved ones and friends who are far away; when I wander from Him, He longs to hear from me. A pray for help, a prayer of repentance, a show of faith. Like people who are around me every day He too is with me everyday. He longs for me to speak to Him daily, show my love by obeying Him, touch His heart with praise and worship, and seek His will and His ways in all things. Like a parent it touches His heart when He sees Himself  displayed in me. I am grateful God makes me able to touch others. I pray that I will touch them as He would. I pray He will touch them through me and that they will recognize that it's His touch and give Him thanks.

This is My commandment that you love one another as I have loved you. John 15: 12, Love your neighbor as your self. Leviticus 19:18, Love the Lord Your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. Deuteronomy 6:5If you love Me keep My commandments. John 14:15. I would put more scriptures here but I  believe that if  I can do these four well I will have a pretty good touch.
