I would love to be at my proper weight and physically fit. But what good would that be if  I wasn't spiritually healthy? Spiritually I need to eat right and exercise and drink plenty of Living Water. Just like physically I have to eat right and exercise and drink plenty of water.

Seeking Help From The Helper

Come Holy Spirit and lead me in prayer.

Fill my mouth with heavenly language speaking adoration and care.

Speak through me those things I know not I have need of.

Fill my heavenly prayers also with thanks and love.

Come Holy Spirit and lead me in praise.

Fill me completely let heavenly words raise.

Give me song of thanks and love from my heart

Give me songs that will strengthen me and cause me from Jesus feet to never part.

Come Holy Spirit and lead me through God's word.

Help me to know it's His voice I heard.

Help me to write His laws in my heart.

Help me meditate His words and ways and from them never to depart.

Exercise

If  I want to drop some weight and get healthy I must exercise. Exercise will help my heart, give me energy, strength, and help my mind. It will help my skin, and help my sleep. Exercise in my Christian walk is even more important. I exercise when I pray. It produces strength, stamina, it's good for my heart, it helps my mind, it helps me sleep better and more. I exercise when I praise. It gives me some physical exercise because as I praise I usually sway or dance. Praise also builds strength, gives me energy, and more. I exercise when I study the bible. It is good for my mind, it makes me strong, and gives me stamina, and is good for my heart, and more. Prayer, praise and bible study is great for my spiritual complexion, because it helps me become more like Jesus. Prayer, praise, and bible study helps keep me fit to run the good race and fight the good fight. I also like to do my spiritual exercise with my church family. When we come together we pray, praise, and study God's word (we exercise). It's good to exercise as a group because, if one of us falls down we can pick them up. If one of us get hurt we can help them and comfort them. If one of us gets tired and wants to give up we can encourage them to continue. God has give us two great instructors for spiritual exercise our pastor and our worship leader. Thanks to God I don't exercise alone when I am at home. God has given me the Holy Spirit to guide, lead and teach me in the exercise of prayer, praise, and bible study. God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit are my personal trainers. When I get injured they heal me too. When I fall they pick me up. When I want to quit they encourage me to continue.

Before starting an exercise program consult the Great Physician.  Wait on the Lord be of good courage, and He will strengthen your heart; Wait I say on the Lord! Psalm 27:14,  Join a good reputable exercise group. Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25, Follow the instructions so you get the most from your work out. All scripture is given by inspiration of  God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16
