To be fit physically, spiritually and mentally I must seek God daily.  I am learning about a few  things I need to be fit. I need variety, balance, proportion control, exercise, and instruction.

Servant Prayer Song

Lord I love You above all.

And on my heart and life I sense a call.

I know it's from You.

It's the call to love and care for others as You do.

So please make me strong mind, body, and soul.

Make me pure and make me whole.

That I might live,

That I might give,

as I see You do.

Faithfully, loving, and true.

Strengthen me to be strong like You.

That I may share others burdens and be one they can rely on too.

Keep my heart tender clean and pure.

Give me wisdom and understanding and so much more.

That I might do as I see You do.

Brake me Lord and remake me to be more like You.

Never let me think more of myself than I ought.

But help me always raise others above me in deed and thought.

Make me willing to give my life away. Cause me to glorify You.

To be a blessing and not a burden is all I want to do.

I want to be more like You.

Weight Lifters, Body Builders, And Fitness

To me weight lifters are people who lift weights to strengthen bones and muscles. Body builders are those who do things to build up muscles. Physically fit people are those who strengthen bones, muscles, and their body in general and a lot more. They work on keeping the whole body well not just focusing on one part. Physically fit people can relate to weight lifters and body builders because they do some of that too. Physically fit people who are Christians should also be keeping their mind and spirit fit too. Physically fit people should strive for balance in nutrition also. By balance I mean properly balancing the foods found on the Food Pyramid that we are all so familiar with. Avoiding Dr so and so's diet and others who focus on certain foods. Eating a variety of foods, and eating right proportions is the key. In Christian life their are weight lifters too. They are the ones who listen to others and share their burdens. They are the ones who pray for and with others. They are the ones who lead others to the greatest weight lifter Jesus. Christian weight lifters strengthen the bones and muscles of  a church by helping their brothers and sisters and sharing their burdens. Spiritual weight lifters also strive to not be or create burdens. Spiritual body builders are the ones who chew on the meat of  the word, pray, stay as close to God as they can, and do all they can to become spiritually strong. They are the ones who encourage, up lift and cheer people on in the church. They are the ones who build up the church's muscles. They strengthen and inspire brothers and sisters to go out and bring others to the great body builder Jesus. Then there are the ones who are Spiritually physically fit. They do all the above and more. They make sure everyone gets a good balance of  prayer, praise, fellowship, and God's word. They also make sure that they have a good balance of  those too. They encourage brothers and sisters to help the lost come to the one who is most fit Jesus. They encourage others to follow His perfect plan for getting healthy. By eating God's word right. Such as not taking it out of context, not using it legalistically, and more. They encourage people to eat some every day. They know that praise is a good for of exercise it moves us and we move in it. It build's strong healthy spiritual minds and bodies. They encourage people to have fellowship knowing that it produces unity, and strengthens the church. That it helps keep us accountable. The spiritually fit also encourage prayer. They know that a good balance of prayer is needed every day with God's word for instruction. They know that it is where we get our strength, stamina, and so much more to keep the church healthy and fit. I find my self right now dabbling in all theses areas and I know I am not as fit as I would like to be physically or spiritually. So I am seeking God daily to make me fit physically, spiritually and mentally. One thing I do know is I will be working on this for ever. Because even if I do or did ever get fit; I have to daily keep up the maintenance or I will loose what I fitness I have  gain.

Bear one another's burdens Galatians 6:2, Strengthen your brethren Luke 22:32, Strengthen hands that hang down and feeble knees. Hebrews 12:12, For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building. According to the grace of God which was given me, as a wise master builder I have laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds. 1 Corinthians 3:9-10 (this is not just about pastors but anyone who ministers to others in any way) A wholesome tongue is a tree of life.Proverbs15:14, But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ--From whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Ephesians 4:15-16
