Lord help me to be on guard so that I don't give the devil a foot hold. I pray that when I do fall short that you protect those around me that they don't get touched by it. Amen

Confess your sins repent and obey.

Come to Jesus there is no other way.

I will watch and pray. In Jesus I will win.

I will listen for God's voice.

I will seek His will for every choice.

I will obey with all my might.

 I will believe His forgiveness sets things right.

One thing I know that holds true Jesus paid the price for me and You.

When we are weak and feel we failed. What Jesus did is what You hold on to.

There is nothing that can take that away.

What Jesus did every evil will slay.

Crack The Code

My husband and I recently watched a movie where if,  the bad guys could crack the computer code they could find the good guys and destroy them. If you know anything about computers that is like looking for a needle in a hay stack. But these bad guys were computers so they could crack the code and find people pretty quickly. I have an adversary that is kind of the same way. He wants to crack my code and destroy me. The code he wants to crack is the one I live by (the word of God). The one he wants to destroy is me. The ones trying to crack my code is the devil, his helpers, my mind and my flesh. This means he even has inside connections. This means that I must always be alert (watching and praying). There are so many little places he can get in and hurt me if I am not one the alert. Example I am over whelmed by work and someone comes and asks for my help, the phone rings; suddenly I am stressed out and irritable. If  I allow this irritability to go unchecked I hurt someone else, then my conscience bothers me, then I get more stressed before you know it I am out of control playing into the devils hands. There you go my code is cracked (be you angry and sin not Eph.4:26) and he gets two or more people for the price of one. There are lot's of  biblical codes I live by for him to crack. (Galatians 5:22-23) Has a lot of my codes listed there. The bible it's self  has many, many more. The thing is to stay alert! The devil doesn't go after the most obvious codes like (the two great commandments Matthew 22:37-40). The reason for this is that what ever code I am strongest in is right in front of  me so I am guarding that one so he cant get in there. So he looks for ones I am not guarding. The devil know that there are times when I am weak and areas I am weak in. These are the times and places he picks to crack my code like the one in the example earlier. But don't I fret because in Isaiah 40:29 it says God gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. And Romans 8:26 says Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. God gives us many ways to protect the code we live by. He gives us an armor Ephesians 6:11, He gives us a place to hide Psalm 27:5, He provides a way of escape 1 Corinthians 10:13. Some of our weapons are love, repentance, mercy, grace forgiveness. Even with all this help sometimes codes can be cracked. The main thing is never give up, never give in, watch and pray in Jesus you will win. I believe the devil cant destroy me because there is one code he cant crack my belief in Jesus.  Even my code of belief cant save me, only the price Jesus paid can. The devil can only nick me and those around me a little when I am not on guard. So I pray Lord keep me on guard. Amen
