I don't want to hide my talents and I don't want anything to get in the way of my using them, because they are for God's glory. So Lord in my life be glorified! Amen

Giving All Of Me To God

Lord I lift all I do up to You as an offering.

And when I am afraid to You my fears I bring.

 No way! I want nothing to stand in Your way!

Nothing to stop what You want to do through me today!

My heart constantly lifts a prayer to You.

Lord help to obey and be true.

Give me wisdom and strength to do all You would have me to.

Lord make me more like You.

Because No way! I want nothing to stand in Your way.

Nothing to stop what You want to do through me today!

My life is a prayer a sacrifice I offer to You each day.

Over me O Lord have Your perfect sway.

Make our wills of one accord. Use me today.

Why

Children love to ask the question why. I ask God why a lot of times about a lot of things. And just like with earthly parents I don't always get an answer. I asked God why He doesn't answer all my why questions. The answer came to my heart and mind as clear as if  He had spoke it. I don't always answer because you are not ready to hear the answer for one reason or another. (Not mature enough, unable to understand, etcetera). But this isn't what I am here to write about today. I am writing about why I write this web page. I write it because I feel God has called me to this and blessed me with the gift to do it. I write because I want people to know God in a more real way. I want people to know they can have a personal everyday relationship with God and that He cares about every big and little thing in their life. That people might know that God's not out there somewhere, He is here with us everyday. He isn't waiting to smack us up side the head, He is calling and reaching out to help us. I write because it helps me to learn and grow too. This is God's page not mine. I ask Him each time I sit down what should I write about today. I can tell when it is Him because the words fly from my heart, mind, and hands almost faster than I can read or think (that's why there are usually a few misspelled words and grammar problems). The scriptures leap to mind as well and the poem/ song is almost written before the story is done. I am grateful to God for this opportunity to share Him with others. I am also writing today to encourage others to step out and go with God. I didn't think I could do this page for a whole year and my year is not over yet but, I believe now I can. God gives many of us things we think we can't do because of  lack of time, low self-esteem, and lots of other reasons. Starting this page wasn't easy I had to get over my many fears. The main thing is I took that first step. This page has made my faith and reliance in and on God grow. I consider this page as an offering to the Lord. So brothers and sisters I urge you to find out what God has given you, offer it up to the Lord take that first step and go with God. God bless You all.

Therefore, my brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians15:58, The story of the talents is good reading for today Matthew 25:14-30, Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; Philippians 1:6,  Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!  Psalm 34:8
