I want to be strong and helpful for whatever my brothers and sisters in Jesus needs. I want to be strong and useful for whatever God has planned for me. I want to be strong enough to carry the lost to Jesus. Some of them are pretty beat up and need to be carried not dragged, pushed, or tossed to Jesus. And if I get all my I wants I will not boast about what I did because, It is all Jesus. I can do nothing with out Him.

Strength

Help me to be strong enough to carry the lost.

To bring them to You no matter what the cost.

Lord I know that Your strength that carries us through.

None of us can make it with out You.

Strengthen my brothers and sister I pray.

Use me and strengthen me to carry them along the way.

Lord I know Your the strength that carries us through.

None of us could make it with out You.

So if  we are strong we are strong in You.

If  I carry anyone very long that's really You too.

And if  anyone is saved it's not by me but by You.

No one can ever boast in their own strength, no in ourselves we can put no trust.

But we can all give thanks for the strong things You do through us.

Lord I know that Your strength carries us through.

None of us can make it with out You.

Boogie Boarding

My Husband took up boogie boarding in Hawaii. He was very good at it. I watched as He paddled out and waited and waited and waited (very patient fellow) for just the right wave to carry him in. A good big strong wave could take him a long ways. A small weak wave wouldn't take him far. As I watched I thought about how as a Christian I would like to be a good big strong wave, so I could carry my Christian brothers and sisters as far as they may need me to. Christian brothers and sisters who have yet to discover their talents or whose talent is just starting to grow, need someone who has a good strong relationship with Jesus. They need someone to encourage them, uplift them, hold them up and prayerfully keep putting them in Jesus hands. Brothers and sisters who already have a ministry and talent need this too and more. With out the boogie board the wave wouldn't carry my husband as far or as effectively. The only way I can effectively be a good strong Christian wave is to prayerfully keep putting my brothers and sisters in Jesus hands. His hands like the boogie board is what really carries them. I may be a weak wave or no wave yet because they are on the boogie board (in His hands) they will make it to their destination no matter how long it takes. I also want to be a good big strong Christian wave for those who have yet to accept Jesus. They to need to be kept on the boogie board (in God's hands). I want to carry them into the kingdom, but they can only get their if they accept Jesus (the boogie board). He is the one who will get the all the way to the Kingdom shore not me (the wave). I could wear them out or drown them, but with Jesus in the center they will safely make shore. I must depend on God for what type of  wave I am to be and for how strong and for how long. I must keep Jesus (the boogie board) at the center of all things so I do good and not harm. My brothers and sisters must depend on God for for all things including a good strong wave to carry them. They must stay on the boogie board (in Jesus). The lost need to realize that they need Jesus (the boogie board) and that they can depend on Him for all things including making it to the Kingdom shore.

Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another. Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Romans 12:10-15, And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be judge of the living and the dead. to Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.  Acts 10:42-43
