I want to step into the water. Let the living water fill me to over flowing.

Asking Jesus For Water

Lord fill me daily with living water make me a fountain of You.

Use me to share it with others. Cause it to settle in their hearts like dew.

Give them the increase that they may become rivers.

Sharing Your love, Your life with others. Make us cheerful givers.

Quench our thirst, drench our souls.

Fill us with You, make us like over flowing bowls.

The river of life flows from Your thrown.

In it we are united we never walk alone.

Step Into The Water

I know that step into the water is the beginning of a song, but it is also good advice. When I step into a shower after working hard in the garden I not thinking so much about getting clean as I am about cooling off. How delicious it feels to cool off in a shower! But after a hard days work around home when I work up a good sweat like during spring; I want to take a shower to get clean. When I exercise really hard and I am sore and achy I like to step into the hot tub near where I live. I like to step into a bubble bath when I want to sooth my nerves. I like stepping into rivers to feel their icy cool swift currents, to splash around in and have fun in. I like to step into the ocean and feel it's icy coldness and to catch the taste of  the spray. Water is one of my favorite things. I love rain, fountains, and water falls, they seem to make me feel so peaceful. Especially rain it gives me an excuse for a hot bath if  I've been out in it an gotten soaked. Rain gives me an excuse to curl up on the sofa and read with a nice mug of hot chocolate. Water can make me feel clean, fresh, and alive! I love the smell of moisture in the air! However there is one kind of water I desire above all. That is the living water Jesus spoke of. He said, "He who believes in Me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." John 7:38 The only way I can get this living water is by asking Jesus to give it to me. Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'give Me a drink.' you would have asked Him and He would have given you living water." John 4:10 I am not found of drinking the 6-8 glasses of water that health officials recommend. Because of the taste of water or the lack of taste I would love to never get thirsty again. That's one of the wonderful things about the living water. If you drink it you will never get thirsty again! Because He who is the supply will keep you constantly supplied! "But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life." John 4:14 I want to share this water with others and inspire them to share the living water with others; so God will get the glory and give the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:7
